NAUE m3 Systems
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
The NAUE NAIL system combines the strength and durability of Secugrid® geogrids with soil nails to create a steep slope reinforcement system at slope inclinations up to 60°. Secugrid®, with its uniform, flat bar construction and outstanding junction strength, provides the primary reinforcement in the slope direction. The dimensioned soil nails are spaced uniformly across the installed Secugrid® reinforcement, which covers the slope surface. Additionally, the Secumat® 5/5 Q1 ES 601 erosion control mat is placed over the Secugrid® soil reinforcement before the soil nails are secured. The topsoil-filled Secumat® promotes the establishment of vegetation for green walls and slopes. Vegetation can be established quickly and effectively with hydroseeding, where needed or preferred.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
The NAUE GABION system utilises Secugrid® geogrids to create reinforced earth structures with gabion fronts. Secugrid® geogrids are installed between the gabion layers and anchored in the soil. The system is highly flexible for design and installation, adjusting to project-specific soil requirements and geometric shapes. This flexibility maximises project economics and aesthetic options. Depending on site needs, the erosion stability of the soil placed on the reinforcing geogrid construction can be ensured by the installation of a Secutex® filter geotextile behind the gabion layers. Slope inclinations up to 90° are possible.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
When embankments are planned with angles exceeding 70°, a vegetated face is usually not possible or requires significant and potentially cost-prohibitive work. These situations require harder exteriors and high-strength reinforcement, but aesthetic, economical facings are still possible. The NAUE PANEL Secugrid® geogrid system provides high-strength reinforcement to earth structures and walls and utilizes precast concrete panels for exterior design flexibility. Secugrid® reinforcement geogrids are installed between or connected to the facing elements. NAUE PANEL is characterized by a high degree of design options, making it adaptable to project-specific requirements, different wall geometries and attractive aesthetic faces while being extremely cost-effective and quick and easy to construct. Walls and slopes can be built to 90° angles.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
The NAUE WRAP Secugrid geogrid system for reinforced earth structures utilizes Secugrid® in wrapped, reinforcement envelopes at slope fronts. Temporary formworks, such as wood piles, are used in the site preparation and construction process. Mechanical protection of the high load-bearing capacity of NAUE’s Secugrid® reinforcement technology is secured by the installation of Secumat® erosion control mats or Secutex® nonwoven geotextiles. These measures protect against erosion of the soil. NAUE WRAP is highly adaptable to project-specific requirements and geometries, which leads to an economical, aesthetic solution capable of supporting vegetation. Slope surfaces at angles up to 70° can be vegetated. Additional UV protection can be provided through the installation of facing stones or other adequate materials.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
When embankments are planned with angles exceeding 70°, a vegetated face is usually not possible or requires significant and potentially cost-prohibitive work. These situations require harder exteriors, which elevates the importance of surface aesthetics to the reinforced structure. NAUE BLOCK is a Secugrid® geogrid system for reinforcing earth structures and walls while incorporating brick, block, precast concrete, natural stone and other facings for design flexibility. Secugrid® geogrids are placed between the facing elements and anchored in the soil for outstanding structural stability. This strength enables NAUE BLOCK to adapt to projectspecific requirements, allows numerous wall shapes (including rounded corners), and results in economical, aesthetic solutions. Where needed, additional mechanical protection can be provided with the installation of a nonwoven geotextile filter behind the facing. Walls and slopes can be built to 90° angles.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
NAUE STEEL T utilizes the primary reinforcement of Secugrid® geogrids combined with temporary effective steel-skin facings in enveloped forms to create a reinforced earth construction system that can adapt to numerous slope angles and shapes while supporting vegetation. Plantings are possible on the face of NAUE STEEL T on slopes up to 70°. For steeper slopes, special vegetation measures and irrigation systems are generally necessary. Secutex® nonwoven geotextiles or Secumat® erosion control mats provide slope face erosion control. The system enables considerable design flexibility, thus allowing adaptation to project-specific requirements and wall shapes while being highly economical, quick to construct, and aesthetically attractive with a natural, green face.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
The NAUE CLAMP Secugrid geogrid system combines high-strength reinforcement with additional erosion protection for embankments, earth structures and steep slopes at inclinations up to 50°. NAUE CLAMP includes the vertical installation Secugrid primary reinforcement geogrid and e.g Secumat erosion control mats, secured with U-shaped clamp fasteners. This arrangement is filled with vegetation-supporting topsoil and may be used in conjunction with fast-establishing hydraulic growth mediums, such as hydroseed. NAUE CLAMP secures both temporary and permanent slope constructions, and the systems strength allows for significant flexibility. Project-specific requirements and unique slope geometries and vegetation are possible in a single, economical, natural- looking system.
NAUE m3 - For Reinforced Slope and Retainig Wall System
The NAUE STEEL P system combines Secugrid® geogrid reinforcement with longterm (permanent) steel-skin facings to create reinforced earth structures amenable to numerous slope shapes. Vegetation is allowed on slopes up to 70°. For steeper slopes on which vegetation is desired, special plantings and irrigation are necessary. For NAUE STEEL P, the Secugrid® primary reinforcement is fastened to the steel shells (e.g., L-shaped wire forms) to create a strong interface. To prevent soil erosion along the galvanized steel facing, Secutex ® nonwoven filter geotextiles or Secumat ® erosion control mats are used. The system is highly adaptable to project-specific requirements and geometries, resulting in economical solutions supporting natural vegetation.
