LEL Monitors

Nira - Flame Ionization LEL Monitoring Systems

Fast response time (T90 in less than 2 seconds). High reliability and stability in time. Ex Proof and EN 1539 certifications. Low management costs. Single/multipoint monitoring, heating up to 200°C. Wall or rack mounting and outdoor installation.

Nira - Infrared LEL Monitoring Systems

Our new INFRARED LEI MONITORING SYSTEM proposes some innovative technical features, which allows fast response time, simple installations and low maintenance procedure.

Nira - Infrared LEL Monitoring Systems

LEL monitoring systems continually check the level of solvents inside industrial machines’ drying stations, ensuring that they stay well within the law-established parameters. This serves a specific and essential safety purpose: solvents are flammable, and the high temperatures typically persent inside drying stations could well create a fire or explosion hazard. The LEL Monitoring System, where LEL is short for Lower Explosion Level, is capable of controlling solvent concentration so that is constantly below the legal limit. NIRA’s Infrared LEL monitoring systems are particularly suited to the needs of the Tobacco, Pharmaceutical and Food Packaging Industries; they are EC and ATEX certified, and can thus be used even in the immediate proximity of high-risk areas.

Air Treatment Plants. VOC Monitoring

Nira - Solvent Recovery Plant Analyzer

In many industrial plants, solvent recovery is an essential part of the business model, allowing for several reuses of solvents after the first production cycle with no alteration in performance. Solvent recovery plants, however, require a precise monitoring of the quality of incoming air, and of the type and concentration of solvents it carries, and a constant monitoring of the condition of outgoing air, in order to determine when absorbers need to be stripped. NIRA’s solvent recovery plant analyzers are capable of controlling all phases of the process, setting concentration at the ideal level to facilitate recovery, and are available for both steam and inert gas stripping solvent recovery plants.

Residual Solvent in Flexible Packaging

Nira - Fast Residual Solvent Analyzers

NIRA’s Fast Residual solvent Analyzers allow for easy and quick analysis  of the solvent levels in finished printed products of all types, in order to optimize resource use and reduce any potential waste. In order to do this, the Fast Residual solvent Analyzer – a specifically designed Gas Chromatograph available in both Tabletop and Process models – can check the solvent level on printed materials of many kinds,  including flexible, coated or laminated specimens. The device is completely automated and thus extremely simple to use, and can analyze both solvent purity and quality inside inks and the inks, adhesives and solvents to be employed, even before their use.

Analyzers

Nira - Fast Residual Solvent Analyzer

Fast Residual Solvent Analyzer for the tobacco, pharmaceutical and food flexible packaging. NEPTUNE 803 is designed for the rapid execution of the analysis performed by the machine operators, directly next to production processes, even in solvent polluted areas. By setting off the waiting time of the laboratories (sampling performed directly by the operators) and compressing, thanks to innovative instrumental solutions, the technical analysis times, Neptune 803 is able to provide a residual solvent result in the time necessary to produce a single roll (12 minutes). The use of Neptune 803 allows process corrections in real time, greatly reducing waste and rework of products.

Nira - Portable and Fixed TOC Analyzers for Emission Control

ARIES 1003 (fixed version) and MERCURY 903 (portable version), are the right solution for the VOCs emission monitoring, in term of accuracy,
simplicity and analytical stability.

Nira - Multi-Line VOC Analyzers

The only system able to check the solvent concentration during the stripping phase of the absorbers. Extraordinary long time stability: sampling loop instead of continuous capillary flow. Lower maintenance and management costs: exclusive sampling valve (no mechanical parts in motion), ejector sampling system (maintenance free) instead of the classic sample pump and only one servo gas required (hydrogen). Very easy interfacing: PC embedded technology working on Windows®XP operating system (Ethernet and USB ports). These multi-line VOC analyzers can be integrated and used to control many different phases of any Recovery Solvent Plant.

Nira - Methane Analyzer for Air Quality

NIRA Analyzer Mod. VENUS 301 is a sensitive instrument specifically designed to automatically measure traces of organic volatile composites in
air, able to separate methane and non-methane components in one single analysis.
