The smallest of the New Logic Series i VSEP line, the i18 is perfectly suited for smaller flow rate applications. The available membrane area in the i18 filter pack ranges from 150 ft² to 290 ft².

Between the i18 and i84 lies the i36. A perfect size for high solids applications and moderate flow rates, the i36 was the original workhorse of the Series i family. The available membrane area in the i36 filter pack ranges from 450 ft² to 600 ft².

The most widely used VSEP is the i84. With up to 1400 ft² of membrane area in each filter pack, the i84 is the ideal module size to process larger flow rates.

Standard VSEP systems operate at feed pressures up to 550 psi. While this is suitable for most aplicaations, there are cases where more driving force is needed because of very high dissolved solids in the feed. For these challenging application, New Logic has developed a high pressure VSEP line capable of reaching pressures up to 1,000 psi.

You are likely to find a Series B VSEP at a trade show or in the hands of an experienced VSEP sales engineer or manufacturer’s representative. The Series B VSEP is designed to demonstrate the concept of Vibratory Shear Enhanced Processing (VSEP) to prospective clients.

The Series LP VSEP system provides the same vibratory membrane separation technology as the Series i in a compact form factor.

The VSEP Series P-50 is the “low- flow” version of the Series i. This unit is a larger version of the Series LP, the Lab/Pilot model. The system has approximately 50 ft2 of membrane area. The P-50 system includes the VSEP, a Feed Pump, a 15 gallon Cleaning Tank, and connecting hoses.

New Logic’s Batch Titan 1000 membrane coupon tester is designed to quickly test the separation capabilities of various membranes. An assortment of membrane coupons is provided with each Batch Titan®. Additional membranes may be purchased separately. New Logic carries over 200 types of membranes ranging from Reverse Osmosis to Microfiltration.
