NLC - Model C-2245, C-2280, C-8840 and C-2785 - Industrial Non-Silicone Defoamers

C-2245 is a water-based biodegradable, non-silicone defoaming blend made to prevent excessive foaming in C.I.P. cleaning systems s well as auto-washing applications. It is alkali-soluble, and is specifically designed to perform in high temperature systems. C-2245 finds use in the food industry only where direct or indirect food contact is not expected to occur.

NLC - Model CD-2020 - Powdered Food-Grade Kosher Antifoam

CD-2020 is a proprietary, powdered, silicone antifoam designed to control foam in aqueous systems such as food processing applications and fermentations. As an antifoaming agent, CD-2020 finds utility in biotechnology/fermentation applications, food processing, brewing, pharmaceutical and water treatment applications. It is especially useful when blended with other powdered or dry products subject to foam formation when the consumer reconstitutes them with water. Examples include: dehydrated soup mixes, instant beverages, powdered detergents and fertilizers. When used in biotechnology applications, CD 2020 will not alter microbial growth rates or lower yields. It is compatible with ultrafiltration membranes and is non-toxic and autoclavable.

NLC - Model IG-2005, IG-2010, IG-2020 and IG-2030 - Industrial Grade Silicone Defoamers

This series of industrial-grade antifoams are water-based, silicone emulsions (as polydimethylsiloxane) designed to control foam in a variety of aqueous industrial applications. The functional properties developed especially for the IG-2000 series of antifoams to eliminate and prevent excessive foam include: quick dispersibility, slight insolubility, relative stability, and a high degree of spreadability in the foaming system. The primary active ingredient is polydimethylsiloxane, an inert silicone polymer. Our Industrial-grade antifoam emulsions utilize only nonionic emulsifiers and do not contain reportable levels of any hazardous components. Therefore, when used properly, these antifoams are considered a relatively safe class of chemical additives
