NIAGARA developed a chemical-physical-biological plant for the disposal of liquid industrial waste; the operative potentiality is 85,000 tons per year and the CompanyÕs Quality System works according to UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001. An inside laboratory tests the samples provided by the customers to verify waste compatibility with the plantÕs disposal technologies; furthermore, chemical analysis reveals some possible pre-treatment needs to be performed in suitable discontinuous reactors. The waste is drained into homogenization tanks to be subjected to a first screening and degritting phase. Next, it is sent to a clarification bed for the separation process of the mudflow; the liquid component is submitted to chemical reagents and to a clarification period for the separation of sludge obtained during the treatment.

Thanks to its twenty-year experience, NIAGARA has strengthened collaboration relationships with companies in the same field for the disposal of waste, which – because of its composition or origin manufacturing process – need a type of treatment that is different. NIAGARA is capable of disposing waste in recycling centres, thermo-destruction or landfills.

NIAGARA possesses the technology, the skills and the professional experience to carry out – in accordance with safety laws and local regulations – the cleaning and demolition of dismissed chemical industrial plants, which represent a serious hazard to the community’s health.The first phase foresees the design of a decontamination plan, which – prior to any further action – will need the approval of the competent Authorities.Then, NIAGARA carries out the decontamination and demolition of the equipments and takes care of the restoration of the contaminated areas by eliminating the polluting agents as well

NIAGARA, thanks to its well-established experience, develops and executes treatment plants for sewages or sludge which need specific processing for being disposed of or discharged in accordance to the laws in force.NIAGARA studies, plans and implements changes or extensions to be carried out on existing plants so as to reach the operative standards in line with UE and national regulations. NIAGARA manages all the necessary documentation directly to comply with laws in force. Furthermore, the Company takes care of the training necessary for the working staff, both with in site theoretical teaching and apprenticeship directly alongside the installation facility.

NIAGARA, by means of its sister company CARPISPURGO, manages the waste transportation and all related logistics services. This organization is equipped with a wide fleet of trucks and carries out the forwarding of liquid and solid, packed and loose materials, both special and dangerous ones, following ADR system if required.CARPISPURGO performs cleaning and maintenance services of industrial plants and washings at low and medium pressure (from 50 to 200 bar).
