Sic Mechanical Seal Rings Or Faces
the sintering method of pressureless sintered silicon carbide seal rings/faces is that silicon carbide powder with a certain amount of B and C is sintered in a vacumme furnace in a high temperature where B is dissolved into sic to lower the cristal boundary energy and C can remove SO2 to improve the surface energy.Compared to reaction bonded silicon carbide seal faces/rings, they are better in the resistance to corrosion in the extremely strong acids and alkali.
Tungsten Carbide(Tc) Mechanical Seal Rings or Faces
The two most common variations of tungsten carbide seal faces/ring are cobalt bound and nickel bound. the seal faces/rings of Nickel bound tungsten carbide is more corrosion resistant although the seal faces/rings of the cobalt bound tungsten carbide is more than adequate for most services. Neither is as good as alumina. a tungsten carbide seal face/ring has a very high compressive and tensile strength,a high modulus of elasticity. The mechanical seals with tungsten carbide seal faces or rings can be used in pumps operating in fluids with sands or solids.

Silicon carbide shafts are designed to save wear and tear when the shafts rotates and basically work as bearings. There are two silicon carbide sintering methods: pressureless sintering and reaction bonded sintering. Both of them are characterized with good resistance to corrosion and friction and endurance of high temperature in spite of some differences in the property. They can be designed for shafts used in mechanical products requiring high precision and sealing. Silicon carbide shafts are used in high pressure pumps, magnetic pumps and shield pumps etc.

The bronze bushes/bushings/sleeves are made by centrifugal casting relating to the speed importantly and two points should be taken into consideration: the speed should ensure the metal liquids to form a cylinder colour and rotate with the shaft; secondly make use of the centrifugal forces to ensure the inside quality to avoid the defectives of the shrinkage, porocity, inclusion and so on. The materials have tin bronze, aluminium bronze, and special bronze, which need different temperatures
