Filter Media  ATL-YP-S  for Deep Bed Filter. ATL-YP-S  is a buffered carbon designed for use in sugar decolourization plants. It is mainly used in deep bed filters after Talofloc Talofloat Process for treated melt filteration. ATL-YP-S  is very effective in removing suspended solids present in treated melt and help to provide turbidity free sugar liquor after the filteration process. It has advantages on the old method of filteration like Rotary pressure filters, Candle filters, Filter presses, etc. It provides leak free method of filteration and also traps tiny particles which are not possible by other methods. Hence it polishes the sugar liquor and provides sparkling clarity which results in good quality refined sugar free of haziness.
