Underwater Monitoring Instruments - Multiparameter Probes
Sambat - Multiparameter Fluorescence, Turbidity and Oxygen Probes
SAMBAT is an autonomous multiparameter water quality probe. It allows to measure over several months the main physical quantities of water. SAMBAT uses a cleaning broom for the protection against biofouling of dissolved Fluorescence, Turbidity and Oxygen sensors.
Underwater Monitoring Instruments - Underwater Loggers
WiSens - Pressure and Temperature Data Logger
WiSens TD measures and records temperature and pressure. It has been designed to be used up to four different depths: 50 meters, 500 meters, 1000 meters and 6000 meters.
WiSens - Depth Temperature Conductivity Data Logger
The WiSens CTD data logger measures and records conductivity, pressure and temperature over a depth range from 0 to 300 meters.
Underwater Monitoring Instruments - Specific Parameters
Altus - Submersible Altimeter
ALTUS is a submersible altimeter that is specialized in sediment monitoring in bays and estuaries. Immersible distance measurement system.
nke - Absolute Underwater Salinity Monitoring Instruments
NOSS sensor is a unique underwater sensor for in situ refractive index measurement and capable to detect salinity anomalies of seawater. It can be used down to 2000 meters.
Buoys and Instrumented Systems - Instrumented Buoys
Sambat - Floating Instrumented Buoys
The SAMBAT float is one of the easiest ways to deploy a multiparameter probe SAMBAT at sea or on the surface of seawater and it protects the probe against shocks and reduces the development of biofouling on the probe’s body.
Sambat - Coastal Instrument Buoy
The SAMBAT coastal buoy is designed to deploy a multiparameter probe SAMBAT on protected coastal waters and it allows to deploy the probe in rivers, where the current is high. The buoy is equipped with a traffic light and a St. Andrew cross. The data are transmitted via GPRS transmission.
Buoys and Instrumented Systems - Drifting Buoys
nke - Drifter Buoys
The SC40 drifters are designed to monitor seawater current flow at sea surface, oil spill trajectories and has to be equipped with a drogue to not be affected by the surface current.
nke - Sea Surface Temperature and Depth Measurement Buoys
The SC40 drifters are designed to monitor sea surface temperature and depth measurements. This product was developed within requirements of the Copernicus TRUSTED project.
Buoys and Instrumented Systems - Specific Instrumented Stations
WiSens - Automated Receiving Unit
NKE proposes a range of autonomous loggers called WiSens that can be installed on fishing nets, doors, cages etc. The WiSens loggers allow to measure water physico-chemical parameters with high accuracy and fast response time. WiSens also have capability of on-board wireless automatic transfer to a computing unit called WiSens-Hub.
