Human Behavior (Security)
Gun In Hand Detection Application
The Gun-in-hand Detection application from Noema uses smart cameras to automatically detect the presence of weapons in restricted areas. Upon detecting a weapon, the app sends a notification or alarm, and saves video frames in which the weapon is present, for further review. Additionally, the app runs efficiently on CPU and GPU and can be run in parallel with other apps on a single camera at the edge. Mount a new camera or equip the application to an existing one with no additional hardware required. Gun-in-hand detection application uses human behavior tracking to vastly increase the accuracy of detection, specifically when weapon is brandished but not perfectly visible. The application also reduces instances of false alarms.
Object & Process Tracking (Transportation)
Noema - Flood Detection Applications
The Flood Detection application from Noema uses smart cameras and computer vision to monitor water levels and alarm for flooding events in bodies of water and flood plains, by applying water fragmentation and virtual rulers. Customizable alarms are sent to operators in real time, during water-level changing and flooding events. Noema’s Flood Detection app generates easily digestible metadata that works with any backend and can be integrated with any alert system. Noema apps operate at the edge, meaning computing is done on the camera itself, with no additional hardware required. Noema’s Flood Application relays real-time data that can help reduce or prevent future flooding damage.
Manufacturing and Oil & Gas
Noema - Liquid Leak Detection Application
Noema’s Liquid Leak Detection Application monitors areas at oil and gas sites where leaks are likely to occur and sends real-time alerts to a backend for a faster response. Using artificial intelligence and computer vision, the app continuously monitors user-defined areas for puddles or pools of liquid, like water and oil. When leaks are detected, real-time alerts are sent to the user for instant response. Noema apps operate at the edge, meaning computing is done on the AI-enabled device itself, with no additional hardware required. Noema’s Flood Application relays real-time data that can help reduce or prevent damage from leaks.
Noema - Analog Gauge Monitoring Application
The Analog Gauge Monitoring application from Noema uses computer vision to automatically monitor analog gauges and generate live data. A single camera can monitor multiple gauges at once, and live readings are sent to a backend or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for aggregation, monitoring and control. Noema apps operate at the edge, meaning computing is done on the camera itself, with no additional hardware required. Noema’s Analog Gauge Monitoring Application is more cost effective than a human operator and automatically digitizes readings from analog gauges.
