The dry powder extinguisher can be used on all classes of fire but it has no cooling effect. It is usually located near electrical equipment in the machinery space and elsewhere on the ship. All portable extinguishers are pressure vessels and must therefore be regularly checked.

NOFIRE Mobile stored pressure ABC Dry powder extinguishers are characterized by their high performance and simple method operation. The ABC Dry powder Mobile type extinguisher contains high performance powder and thus has achieved highest fire rating. They are suitable for multipurpose application of fires involving free burning materials, flammable liquids, flammable gases and electrical equipment.

NOFIRE cabinets are designed to accommodate fire hose reel, fire fighting equipment and breeching inlet. Fire hose reel cabinets are manufactured to comply with 671-1 standard and breeching inlet cabinets are manufactured to comply to BS 5041-5 standard.

Cabinet and door leaves are made of mild / stainless steel sheet with all around folded edges. There are different design for door leaves to suit the architectural engineering. • Cabinets are fitted with continuous piano hinges. Stainless steel hinges are available upon request. • Corrosion protection: Cabinets and Door leaves are painted with electrostatic powder paint oven baked to give protection against rust and to give smooth finish. • Instruction sign in Arabic and English are silkscreen printed on the cabinet. • Standard colors is Red (RAL 3000). Other colors are available upon request. • Frame and Door leaves are available in Mild Steel or Stainless Steel.

Use CO2 extinguishers carefully, avoiding holding the extinguisher by the horn. Remember – don’t use CO2 extinguishers in a confined space. In all cases, firstly remove the safety pin to break the anti-tamper seal, and stand well back from the fire. Avoid holding the extinguisher by the horn.

Totally self-contained, do not require any type of outside electrical source and will remain totally operational during unexpected power outages. Do not require an expensive control panel and are the most cost effective automatic fire suppression system available. Can be designed with most commercially available agents including clean agents, foam and dry chemical, to ensure the best agent is used for an application. Flexible detection tubing can provide protection in difficult and hard to reach areas where other detection methods cannot be used. Rugged detection tubing can be used in harsh environments where other types of detection would quickly deteriorate and render the system inoperable.
