The Air Blitz feed cannon works within a similar feeding distance to our well-proven Blitz water cannons. The hopper has a capacity of 50kg (or optional 75kg). A unique eductor design pulls feed down from the hopper into the air blast and shoots the pellets through a flexible hose to all points of the pen surface within range. Feed flow is controlled by a simple slide gate valve accessible through a port in the side of the feeder body. In still air conditions, the feeding distance will be around twelve to fifteen metres, depending on the size of pellet being fed. The Air Blitz is particularly well suited to feeding Mediterranean species, such as sea bass and bream.

The Blitz feed cannon has been in production since 1994 and is in its third edition, with each new model an improvement on the last. The current model benefits from tens of thousands of hours of working experience gained by our customers and millions of tons of feed spread across pens over the years. This experience has contributed to the steady development of a tough reliable feed cannon.
