Industrial Strip Out
Industrial Strip Out
Strip out means that nonstructural components and equipment are removed, allowing for existing floor space to be reused without demolishing and re-building the entire structure.
Strip outs allow owners the option of re-configuring floor space and satisfying new tenants or production needs.
Strip Out Services Include:

Recycling
Recycling & Dismantling
A well-planned recycling program during dismantling or demolition provides an improved
return-on investment when properly executed.
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are separated by material types. Contamination of other materials must be prevented to increase the value and facilitate easier reprocessing for the ultimate recycling facility.
When metals need to be segregated for accurate yields to determine weights and measures or concrete and bricks need to be crushed for reuse, NADC can accomplish this recycling task directly on site.
Selective Demolition
Selective Demolition
The dismantlement of a specific structure or equipment that does not involve bringing down the entire structure.
Selective Demolition, sometimes known as strip-out can include, but is not limited to, the removal of exterior/interior equipment, walls, floors and ceilings.
Controlled Demolition
Controlled Demolition
Using controlled demolition techniques. the highest degree of calculated precision is required to bring down structures without risk to personnel or damage to the surrounding structures or properties.
NADC has the ability to use explosive or non-explosive techniques when controlling a fall of a certain structure. When conditions are present for a particular controlled demolition project, NADC has the capability to bring down a structure within a controlled perimeter.
Site Clearing
Site Clearing, Clean Up & Excavation
From basic site clearing and earthwork to environmental clean up, NADC has the the experience, personnel and equipment to do the job right.
Advanced planning for soil remediation, soil erosion control, site dewatering and dust control are carefully considered well before site clearing or excavation projects ever begin.
Even after carefully examining prints and historical documents, heavy excavating equipment can reveal many unplanned for obsticles within a given project. NADC has the expertise to examine these new found challenges and act promptly to remedy situation and complete the job on time.
Emergency Response Demolition
Emergency Response Demolition
Unplanned for events require quick emergency response capabilities, including equipment availability and trained personnel.
NADC will coordinate with Federal Agencies such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
North American Dismantling has the experience to dispatch key personnel to coordinate with the command team and assist in establishing a plan of attack, including defining scopes of work and schedules. It is also important to coordinate with any licensing bodies in the areas affected, including juristictions where specialized equipment may be transported.
Tank Removal
Tank Removal
Environmental safeguards are paramount during the tank removal process,
including proper disposal techniques.
The proper safety check list is always followed when decommissioning storage tanks or tank removal. This will prevent any damage to the environment and safeguard any risk to the public or NADC's own working personnel.
Types of tank removal include petroleum, chemical and water. These types of tanks can vary between underground and above ground. In all cases, these different types of storage tanks are pumped out, rinsed and the liquids or contents are tested.
Once identified, the contents are then properly disposed of at one of the staes approved liquid waste sites. The tank(s) are then removed to an approved site for scap processing.
Critical Lift
Critical Lift
Projects that requires a critical lift or pick, each has its own unique characteristics.
Each critical lift and/or pick is carefully designed through the combination of structural engineers and the use of precisely the right equipment. The customer (owner) may request to salvage a portion of the project for possible reuse in the future.
Planning for safety, timing, equipment and cost must be anaylyzed down to the finest
details when working on these types of projects that require engineering and the expertise
of the riggers.
