The Alpha-A mainframe is the master unit of the Alpha-A modular measurement system for electric frequency domain measurements. For dielectric, conductivity and impedance spectroscopy the mainframe has to be operated in combination with one or more test interfaces.

Test Interface with Active Sample Cell for Dielectric, Conductivity, Impedance Two-Electrode Spectroscopy for the Alpha-A Modular Measurement System. The ZGS extension test interface for the Alpha-A modular measurement system features high quality general purpose dielectric, conductivity, impedance spectroscopy and gain phase measurements. It the same functionality as the ZG2 interface, but is integrated in the head of a two parallel plate electrode sample cell similar to the passive BDS 1200 cell. 

Test Interface for Dielectric, Conductivity, Impedance 2, 3 and 4 Electrode Spectroscopy and Gain Phase Measurements for Alpha-A Modular Measurement System. The ZG4 extension test interface for the Alpha-A modular measurement system features high quality general purpose dielectric, conductivity, impedance 2, 3 and 4 electrode spectroscopy and gain phase measurements. 3 or 4 electrode techniques can be advantageously used in order to partly compensate electrode - sample interface polarization or contact impedance effects. ZG4 has the same functionality as the ZG2 interface but two additional differential voltage measurement channels for 3 and 4 electrode measurements.

NEISYS is the latest Novocontrol development, a compact high-performance device for electrochemical impedance measurements. It combines modern potentiostatic and galvanostatic functions based on a digital control design with a state-of-the-art electrochemical impedance analysis system in a compact case of very small footprint. In its base version, we offer a versatile measurement device with specifications very well suited for many standard EIS applications at an affordable price.

Test Interfaces for Electrochemical Impedance, Dielectric, Conductivity, 2, 3 and 4 Electrode Spectroscopy and Gain Phase Measurements with Potentiostat, Galvanostat for  Alpha-A Modular Measurement System. The POT/GAL 15V 10A and 30V 2A extension test interfaces for the Alpha-A modular measurement system feature high quality electrochemical impedance spectroscopy EIS, conductivity and dielectric spectroscopy with 2, 3 and 4 electrodes and gain phase measurements. For electrochemical applications, fast potentiostat and galvanostat control loops for defined dc voltage and current cell polarization control are included. These  can be superimposed by an ac signal for EIS.

The Quatro Cryosystem is a high quality turn key temperature control system for applications in materials research. It can be used with all Novocontrol sample cells for dielectric and impedance spectroscopy. The system was developed to set or ramp the temperature of the sample under test with high accuracy and reproducibility. The system is modular and can be combined with any Novocontrol BDS dielectric or impedance spectrometer.

The Novocool Cryosystem is an economical turn key temperature control system for applications in materials research. It can be used with all Novocontrol sample cells for dielectric and impedance spectroscopy. The system sets or ramps the temperature of the sample under test. It is modular and can be combined with any Novocontrol BDS dielectric or impedance spectrometer. The Novocool Cryosystem was designed for easy, safe and fully automatic operation enabling computer controlled experiments over several days without supervision as required for low frequency measurements.

The BDS1200 connection head is the standard sample cell for the low frequency range from DC to 10 MHz including a Pt100 temperature sensor.

The ZGS active sample cell test interface for the Alpha-A analyzer series is a special version of the BDS1200 standard sample cell with optimized frequency performance. Dedicated to be operated exclusively with the Alpha-A analyzer mainframe, it features high-performance dielectric, conductivity or impedance measurements from 3 µHz up to 40 Mhz.

These are our high end systems for the frequency range from 3 μHz - 40 (BDS 50) or 3 µHz to 20 MHz (BDS 40), covering 13.1 and 12.5 decades on the frequency scale, respectively. These systems are based on the Alpha-A modular measurement system for dielectric, conductivity, electrochemical and impedance spectroscopy with several test interfaces.
