Mercury, a toxic and corrosive material, must be removed from various gas and liquid streams. Since it is always present in very low concentrations, adsorption processes are most suitable for mercury removal. Activated carbon serves as an excellent carrier for various impregnants, which physically react with the mercury and hold it within the adsorbent particles. Very high levels of purity can be attained because of the high mercury removal efficiencies attained by the adsorption process.

The NUCON Model SAE is the only continuous Halide detector available that meets ANSI/ASME standards N510 and AG-1. The model SAE can be calibrated for Vppb level detection of two most commonly used challenge Halides (R-11 and R-12).

The NUCON F-1000-HGP-H is designed to inject a known amount of R-11, R-12, HCFC-123, HFC43-10, HFC134a or 1-Bromobutane liquid into the air system of Charcoal filtration systems. The total quantity of halide used is reduced and exposure of the charcoal to halide loading is minimized.

The NUCON Model AGT™ is a high-output portable thermal aerosol (DOP or PAO) generator. It can provide up to 241 mL/min of submicron PAO, or 121 mL/min of submicron DOP, aerosol.

The NUCON Model SN-10 produces a uniform particle size distribution aerosol and can be used with a variety of challenge agents. Volumetric output is linear and particle size distribution is constant over a 10-100 psig input pressure range. The SN-10 is the perfect upgrade of the `Laskin Nozzle` aerosol generator.
