Public Relations & Communication Department
The Department of Public Relations & Communication is the public face of the Institute. Its tasks include all media liaison work, e.g. writing press releases, organizing press interviews and conferences, producing the website, and all PR activity. Furthermore, the department is responsible for editing and producing eco@work, an e-zine published quarterly. eco@work reports on the latest projects and findings of the institute"s various research divisions, and sets out the institute"s positions on contentious issues in environmental policy. Öko-Institut members also receive an additional print version, as an exclusive service.
Accounting & Personnel Department
Accounting & Personnel Department is a part of the Institute’s central services. It helps the Institute’s research divisions concentrate on their scientific work.
IT Department
The Information Technology Department delivers the IT infrastructure needed for efficient research operations. As an internal service unit, the department views the continuous development of essential information technologies at the Oeko-Institut as its key task. To maintain maximum environmental performance of the IT landscape, the department seeks ongoing dialogue with the Institute’s other units. Daily discussions with other members of staff are important and help to continuously improve the Institute’s IT.
