OKO-Tech - Flotation Systems

OKO-aquaclean flotation systems are multi-functional wastewater treatment systems. Several treatment processes are integrated in one compact unit. The contaminants are separated in a continuous flow. The systems react fully automatically to changing degrees of contamination and volume flows.

OKO-Tech - Emulsion Breaking Systems

Stable emulsions, such as used cooling lubricants, landfill leachate, process waters containing heavy metals and degreasing baths containing emulsifiers, are treated physico-chemically. The OKO-aquaclean system can efficiently break stable emulsions by using modern and highly effective demulsifiers; it can also remove heavy metals from wastewater.

OKO-Tech - Model CPA 4.0 - Physico-Chemical Wastewater Treatment Plants

The OKO-cpa 4.0 concept is based on the requirements of a highly economical and safe treatment of aqueous waste in terms of BAT – Best Available Technology. Our physico-chemical systems accept both organically and inorganically contaminated liquid waste in separate treatment lines and treat it physico-chemically.

OKO-Tech - Physico-Chemical Wastewater Treatment Plants for Industries

Industrial customers profit from continuous treatment plants and batch treatment plants that are planned, manufactured, installed, and commissioned specially for them. This is always carried out in accordance with the requirements of the most economical and safe treatment of industrial wastewater in terms of BAT – Best Available Technology. Our plants can treat both organically and inorganically contaminated industrial wastewaters. Physico-chemical treatment plants treat the water in such a way that it can be discharged into the sewerage system in accordance with legal discharge requirements. Complex wastewater is treated in a multi-stage process which is possible due to a modular design of the plants.

OKO-Tech - Model Aquased - Lamella Separator

The OKO-aquased lamella separator separates substances from the wastewater that tend to settle. This process is called sedimentation. Lamella separators work more efficiently than conventional sedimentation tanks and require less space. The separated sludge is collected in the lower part of the lamella separator and is pumped out at intervals. The sludge must then be dewatered, either by a chamber filter press or a dewatering container.

OKO-Tech - Model Rosi - Rotary Screen

The OKO-rosi rotary screen separates unwanted coarse material from liquid waste streams and discharges it continuously. It was specially designed for robust use in physico-chemical wastewater treatment plants and is ideal for receiving industrial wastewater. OKO-rosi is completely encapsulated to avoid emissions. The dirty water is channelled into the internal screening drum, which reliably retains impurities larger than 3 mm such as gloves, knife blades, tools, leaves, stones, etc. A screw conveyor continuously and efficiently discharges the coarse material into a collection container.

OKO-Tech - Model KFP - Chamber Filter Press

The OKO-kfp chamber filter press is suitable for dewatering larger quantities of sludge produced during wastewater treatment. The size and number of plates depend on the volume of sludge to be dewatered. A powerful feed pump ensures pressure-controlled filling and dewatering. By conditioning the sludge first, the filter cake will have a high dry substance content.

OKO-Tech - Model EWCS 7 - Dewatering Container

Sludge from oil-water separators tends to form capillaries more intensively than sludge from sewer cleaning, for example, due to surfactants and MOH as well the high proportion of fine silt (95% of the grains are smaller than 63 µm) in the sludge. Water is bound in the microscopically small capillaries like in a sponge, making dewatering considerably more difficult. One possible option is the use of pressure for dewatering the sludge – in a chamber filter press, for example. OKO-ewcs 7 presents a much more economical option: capillaries are destroyed by vibration, thus achieving a good degree of dewatering.

OKO-Tech - Model EVAP - Evaporator for Thermal Wastewater Treatment

A prerequisite for using an OKO-evap evaporator is that the wastewater constituents to be separated are not volatile in water vapour. Energy is needed for evaporation. It is supplied to the wastewater via high-performance heat exchangers. The treated wastewater evaporates and is collected as a liquid distillate after cooling. The pollutant to be separated is enriched in the non-evaporated concentrate, which then undergoes
further thermal utilisation or disposal.

OKO-Tech - Model SF - Gravel Filter

The OKO-sf gravel filter is used when high demands are placed on the clear water quality regarding filterable substances. The ultrafine materials dispersed in the wastewater are retained by a multi-layer bed made of gravel and sand. Depending on the loading of the gravel filter, it is then automatically backwashed under pressure and/or time control for cleaning. Two gravel filters are usually required for an uninterrupted wastewater treatment. One gravel filter filters the wastewater, the second one is on standby and takes over when the other gravel filter is backwashed.
