The polystyrene calibration standard is used for instrument calibration. The polystyrene ball / rod, positioned as a sample would in at the laser focus, provides a strong, well-known Raman spectrum against which the imaging system can be aligned to the Raman shift.

The OPAL-103 Triazine Analysis System is a compact form-factor triazine analysis instrument. The system is a portable, easy-to-use chemical analysis tool designed for the quantitative analysis of %-level, triazine-based H₂S scavenger and biocide solutions.
