Online`s EMTx20 series of 22Hz electromagnetic transmitters are fitted to pigs to allow locating and tracking in any onshore and offshore pipeline including buried pipelines, pipelines carrying gas or liquid and in pipeline bundles. The transmitters can be customised as required - for example the transmitter power level can be adjusted to achieve the optimum balance between signal strength and battery life. The 6000SD can be deployed during the hydrostatic test of a subsea pipeline to monitor, display and record pressure and temperature data at set intervals. The display can be monitored for any changes by an ROV or diver or changes can be communicated remotely. Once the test is complete, the log can be downloaded and presented to the client as supporting evidence of the result of the hydrotest.
