Emergency Response Services

Ontario drinking water legislation identifies OCWA as a responder for drinking water emergencies. With this mandate, we continuously renew our emergency management program and maintain fully mobile response units throughout Ontario.Through devastating fires, power failures, major weather-related events, and other community crises, OCWA has proven our ability to effectively respond to emergency events and keep clean water flowing and effluent levels safe.

First Nations Services

OCWA and First Nations professionals have a solid history of successfully working together in the delivery of water and wastewater engineering, technical, and operational services. Today, we are proud to count many First Nations communities and organizations as valued partners. OCWA provides a full range of operational services including training and troubleshooting support, working with First Nations operators to optimize their systems and to obtain and enhance their operator certification. OCWA can provide hands-on, on-the-job training and mentoring to operators.
