Fiber Optic Temperature Sensors
Model OTG-A - Fiber Optic Temperature Sensor
Opsens Solutions’ OTG-A fiber optic temperature sensor offers the highest performances in the industry. The OTG-A sensor uses the well proven technique based on the temperature-dependent bandgap of GaAs crystal as the temperature transduction mechanism. Its small sensing GaAs crystal located at the tip of the optical fiber makes it convenient for tip measurement applications. Combined with Opsens Solutions’ SCBG (Semiconductor Bandgap) signal conditioning technology and with the inherent advantages of fiber optic, the OTG-A delivers unprecedented repeatability and reliability in the most adverse conditions such as high level of EM, RF, MR and microwave field environments. The standard operating range of the OTG-A is from -40 °C to +250 °C. Higher temperature ranges up to 300 °C are available upon request.
Model OTG-F - Fiber Optic Temperature Sensor
Fiber Optic Pressure Sensors
Model OPP-M - Fiber Optic Miniature Pressure Sensor
Opsens Solutions’ OPP-M is a MEMS-based fiber optic pressure sensor † designed for industrial applications. The sensor has a diameter of 0.20 mm OD allowing integration into the monitoring devices that require miniature sensors. The bare optical pressure sensors are dedicated for company that wishes to performs own in-house sensor packaging unique to their product. The encapsulation can be done on the sensor tip and/or throughout the whole optical cable in different materials and sizes; customizable according to client’s specific OEM applications. The packaged sensor significantly reduces the R&D investment and integration efforts hence minimize the overall cost on implementation and manufacturing processes.
Model OPP-B - Fiber Optic Pressure Sensor
Fiber Optic Strain Sensors
Model OSP-A - Fiber Optic Strain Gauge
Opsens Solutions’ fabrication processes ensure an exact definition of the gauge factor, making OSP-A sensor the most accurate fiber-optic strain gauge sensor in the industry. Combined with Opsens’ WLPI signal conditioner technology (Patent #7,259,862) and the inherent advantages of fiber optics, the OSP-A delivers unprecedented repeatability and reliability in the most adverse conditions such as high levels of electromagnetic fields as well as high voltage and rapid temperature cycling conditions. The OSP-A uses two optical fibers that are precisely aligned inside a microcapillary tube to form an optical Fabry-Pérot interferometer. This makes the OSP-A strain gauge completely immune to any electromagnetic interference.
