Products for Emissions Monitoring, Process Control

OPSIS - Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) for Gas Analysis

A wide range of products are combined into customised systems. Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) is the core technology in the OPSIS product portfolio where a combination of light emitters, light receivers, optical fibres, and analysers allows the monitoring of gaseous pollutants and other substances for both emissions monitoring and process control.

OPSIS - Model LD500 - Laser Diode Gas Analysis Systems

LD500 - a good complement to the DOAS analysers. As an alternative to the DOAS systems, OPSIS also offers gas analysis based on laser diode technology, TDL. The TDL technology is a good choice if only a single or a few types of pollutants or other substances are to be monitored, or if a certain measurement performance for a specific type of substance is to be achieved.

OPSIS - Model M800 - Marine Emissions Monitoring Systems

The OPSIS System M800 for shipboard installation is based on the proven System 400 components but is specifically adapted and approved for marine use. It can be used both for emissions monitoring and for monitoring SO2 scrubbers. OPSIS System M800 for marine use is basically a System 400CS supplemented with an instrument cabinet. However, all sub-products included in the system including analysers, emitters and receivers, etc. are specially adapted for the marine environment with extra vibration damping and measures to shield electromagnetic fields. The marine adapted products have an `M` in the product name, for example the gas analyser AR620M and the emitter/receiver set ER060M.

OPSIS - Dioxins and CO2 Samplers

Long-term sampling of dioxins, furans, dioxin-like PCBs, and carbon dioxide. Even in very low concentrations, dioxins are some of the world`s most toxic substances. They are formed in combustion processes, especially in waste incineration. Emissions of dioxins from waste-to-energy plants are therefore strictly regulated. However, the concentrations are low and in order to measure them, a sample of the flue gas must first be collected. This is done with a sampler. In the OPSIS version, the same product can also be supplemented with carbon dioxide sampling.

OPSIS - Model RD100 - Real Driving Emissions Monitoring System

Monitor real emissions from vehicles with internal combustion engines.Emissions from internal combustion engine-driven vehicles create bad air in many parts of the world. Tests against limit values have traditionally been carried out in laboratories and it has been possible for vehicle manufacturers to optimise emissions after the test procedure, with less regard for emissions in real use. To get around this, a standard called `Real Driving Emissions` (RDE) has been introduced, which measures actual emissions.

OPSIS - Model O2000N - Oxygen Monitor System

The OPSIS oxygen monitor of the O2000N type is based on the simple and well-proven zirconium dioxide technology. The monitor is designed to withstand high temperatures, high dust levels, and high moisture levels. The oxygen sensor is placed on the tip of a probe that is inserted into the flue gas duct. There is therefore no risk of the monitoring result being affected within an extractive collection system.
