Aluminum oxide is the second-hardest mineral after diamond. Opta Minerals makes brown aluminum oxide produced by fusing bauxite and anthracite in an electric arc furnace at high temperature. The resulting oxide is over 95%  Al203. Its high density and angular sharpness make it one of the fastest, most versatile and economical cutting abrasives available, usable in both dry and wet blasting applications from cleaning and deburring to etching and finishing. Plastic Media is a non-aggressive granulated plastic abrasive for use in applications where the underlying substrate cannot be damaged. Cleaning with Plastic Media is a fast, environmentally sound and cost-effective alternative to traditional chemical and hand stripping. The process is now accepted as the optimal method of surface preparation for a wide variety of materials and components.

The Apollo Ambient Air Pump conveys breathing air from a clean environment outside the work area to a low-pressure type CE supplied-air respirator worn by an operator inside the blast environment or work zone. They achieve superior casting finishes in all binder systems and metals.
