The OPN-2001 Companion Scanner makes barcode data collection simple. Used in standalone batch mode, the user scans a 1D barcode, and its information is automatically stored to the device. This small form factor USB Companion Scanner is perfect for data-capture applications such as healthcare and inventory control, or when data transfer over Bluetooth is not wanted. For easy data transfer, the device is equipped with a standard USB port, which is also used to charge the internal battery.  The OPN-2001 stores up to 15,000 barcodes.

The fully programmable OPN-2004 Companion Scanner makes barcode data collection simple. Scan a barcode and it is automatically stored directly into the device for later data transfer. The M-10, an omnidirectionial 2D CMOS imager presentation scanner from Opticon, is ideal for a variety of vertical markets including retail, warehousing and healthcare. The M-10 features multiple scanning capabilities including the ability to scan 1D and 2D barcodes off a mobile phone LCD screen. The Opticon MDL-1000 is a laser barcode scan engine with an extremely small rectangular form factor. This laser scan engine is ideal for space-constrained portable devices. OEMs needing to add laser scanning capability to smartphones, medical devices, diagnostic equipment or kiosks will streamline their design process with this tiny engine: the small size makes it easy to mount. The MDL-1000 scan engine features a 650 nm visible laser diode that scans bi-directionally at a rate of 100 scans/second.

The Base Station, is the integeral communication piece to the complete ESL solution. All e-paper labels are connected to the same network and server software which stores all of a businesses desired data. Through communication between the Base Station, and server software, all tags are centerally managed and can be wirelessly updated. Opticon`s EBS-40 can load 2,500 ESLs per station and has a 25-meter indoor radius (100 meters open-field).
