Optinova’s PTFE Dielectric Coax Core is a key component of flexible and semi-rigid coaxial cables. The product has an 83% minimum dielectric concentricity and is available with a variety of conductors.

PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of all polymers and is useful in high temperature applications. PTFE has very good chemical resistance to all common solvents, acids and bases.

FEP is more transparent and optically clear than PTFE, therefore used in monitoring equipment. FEP is also more flexible than PTFE. FEP is virtually unaffected by oxygen, ozone and UV light.
