ORION has designed and supplied fixed and mobile air quality and traffic pollution monitoring stations to many Italian towns. The long experience acquired has allowed us to supply complete air quality monitoring networks in some of the European Countries. We design and produce monitoring stations according to the requests of our Customers, pursuing excellent technical and quality levels; we supply, when required, stations of a particular artistic design and with low environmental impact, in order to respect the scenary of installation.

ORION designs and supplies floating automatic stations (buoys) for the monitoring of sea, lake and river waters. The measuring stations can acquire both meteorological and chemical-physical parameters in the water profile. A current-meter can be also included for the measurement of current values (intensity and direction) along the profile. The management of the floating stations is done remotely by means of data loggers connected via radio or GSM (satellite) to the buoys to download data, make data validation and data logging for later elaborations. Some of our realizations can be found in the Gulf of Naples, in the northern Adriatic sea and in the lake of Garda.

The comprehensive emissions and gas process monitoring systems range offered by ORION includes: single gas analysers certified by recognised bodies (TÜV, US EPA, etc.) and complete Turn-key Systems based on the best technologies available on the market and on a proved system engineering. Our technical staff offers the best experience in the market both for the engineering of the systems and for the after sales service. All of ORION systems are equipped with intelligent units for data acquisition, remote transmission and supervision according to the legislation. The software EDA2003  and EDA 2003C, made by our own staff, is the best solution in the market for a complete and personalized management of the different systems.
