High Speed Steel
Otai - Model M2 - High Speed Tool Steel
AISI M2 Tool Steel is molybdenum based high-speed steel in tungsten–molybdenum series. HSS grade steel M2 is a medium alloyed high speed steel which has good machinability. The H-SS M2 chemical composition gives a good combination of well-balanced toughness, wear resistance and red hardness properties. Widely used for cutting tools such as twist drills, taps, milling cutters, saws, knives etc. Also commonly used in cold work punches and dies and cutting applications involving high speed and light cuts.
Otai - Model M35 - High Speed Tool Steel
ASTM A600 M35 steel is a medium-alloyed high speed tool steel. It is also known as HSSE or HSS-E which is similar to M2, but with 5% cobalt added, which makes better hot hardness and wear resistance. AISI /ASTM A600 M35 high speed steel is suitable for heat treatment up to 66 HRC, and also offers excellent cutting performance and offers excellent cutting performance. AISI high speed Tool Steel M35 is suitable for broaches, taps, milling, reamers, hobs, shapers cutters, saws ,etc.
Cold Work Tool Steel
Otai - Model D2 - Cold Work Tool Steel
We are professional cold works D2 tool steel supplier for more than two decades. We supply AISI / ASTM A681 cold works D2 tool steels alloy steel materials in reliable quality and for attractive price for sale. We have deep knowledge of D2 tool steel’s chemical composition and properties. Contact us for any D2 tool steel materials demands.
Otai - Model D3 - Cold Work Tool Steel
AISI D3 cold work steel, also know as DIN 1.2080 (Werkstoff) and JIS SKD1, is a 12% chrome alloy steel. D3 cold work steel has very high wear resistance against abrasive and adhesive wear due to the high volume of hard carbides in the steel matrix, medium toughness, dimensionally stable, high compressive strength, not secondary hardenable. Type AISI D3 cold works tool steel is oil-quenched; though small sections can be gas quenched after austenitization using vacuum. As a result, tools made with type D3 cold work tool steel tend to be brittle during hardening. Type D2 tool steel is the most commonly used steel among the group D steels. The D3 cold work steels contain 1.5 to 2.35% of carbon and 12% of chromium.
Hot Work Steel
Otai - Model H13 - Hot Work Tool Steel
H13 Tool Steel is chromium hot work tool steels which are widely used in hot and cold work tooling applications. H13 tool steel is classified as group H steels by the AISI classification system. This series of steels start from H1 to H19.
Otai - Model H11 - Hot Work Tool Steel
AISI H11 tool steel is a 5% chromium hot work tool steel that is represented by its excellent impact toughness. Chromium hot-work tool steels are designated as group H steels according to the AISI classification system, and specified in ASTM A681 standard. The most commonly used chromium hot-work steels are H11 tool steel, h12 tool steel, and H13 steel, within the series from H1 to H19.
Engineering Steel
Otai - Model C45 - Round Bar Steel
Steel C45 Round Bar is an unalloyed medium carbon steel, which is also a general carbon engineering steel. C45 is a medium strength steel with good machinability and excellent tensile properties. C45 round steel is generally supplied in the black hot rolled or occasionally in the normalised condition, with a typical tensile strength range 570 – 700 Mpa and Brinell hardness range 170 – 210 in either condition. It does not however respond satisfactorily to nitriding due to a lack of suitable alloying elements. C45 round bar steel is equivalent to EN8 or 080M40. Steel C45 bar or plate is suitable for the manufacture of parts such as gears, bolts, general-purpose axles and shafts, keys and studs.
Plastic Mold Steel
Otai - Model P20 - Steel Plate Material
AISI P20 Steel Plate Material is a versatile, low-alloy tool steel that is characterized by good toughness at moderate strength levels. The special purpose mold steel P20 steel plate is commonly used for plastic injection mold cavities and tooling and for die casting dies for zinc. P20 mold steel plate material is typically sold in the pre-hardened condition at a hardness of approximately 300 HBW.
Otai - Model DIN 1.2738 - Plastic Mold Tool Steel
DIN 1.2738 steel is one kind of plastic mold steel, equivalent to AISI P20+Ni tool steel. While Nickel, chromium and molybdenium are the alloying elements for hardness and toughness. 1.2738 tool steel is specially designed for plastic mold industry, especially for big steel mold parts.
Stainless Steel
Otai - Model 440C - Stainless Steel
ASTM A276 standard grade 440c stainless steel is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel, which is generally supplied in the annealed condition with a maximum Brinell hardness of 269 (Rc29) or annealed and cold drawn with a maximum Brinell hardness of 285 (Rc31).
