Pacific Alloy Casting Inc. products
Industries & Capabilities
Hi-Chrome Replacement Parts
We cast Ni-Hard and Hi-Chrome replacement parts for sand classifying equipment used to process sand & gravel, rock, and stone. Our products include sand classifier shoes, wear shoes, and log washer paddles. We also make Hi-Chrome castings for Vertical Shaft crushers and blow bars for Horizontal Shaft crushers.
Cement & Concrete
We cast Ni-Hard and Hi-Chrome shoes, padles, concrete curbing augers, liners and scrapers for equpiment by: Besser, Cleco, Columbia, Praschak, Turmac/Haarup, Voeller and Wiggert.
HSI and VSI Parts
We manufacture abrasion- and impact-resistant, high-chrome iron anvils, impellor shoes, paddles, tips and liners for Vertical Shaft Impactor Crushers for the aggregate processing industry. We also manufacture Horizontal Shaft Impactor Blow Bars for the aggregate processing, asphalt reclamation, cement, recycling, and solid waste industries.
Mining
We cast ni-hard and hi-chrome parts such as shoot liners and other wear resistant applications for the mining industry.
Metal & Alloy Guide
Ductile Iron Castings
Ductile iron is cast iron whose graphite is in the form of spherical nodules making it more flexible and elastic than other cast irons. These improvements to the mechanical properties allow DI to be used in a wider range of casting applications than standard gray iron. DI has also replaced steel castings in some applications providing a lower-cost alternative.
Hi-Chrome Iron Castings
This specification covers a group of white cast irons that have been alloyed to secure high resistance to abrasion. Castings made of Hi-Chrome Iron, also referred to as Chrome Carbide, are used in the mining, milling, earth-handling, and manufacturing industries.
Austenitic Gray Iron Castings
Austenitic gray iron is characterized by uniformly distributed graphite flakes, some carbides, and the presence of sufficient alloy content to produce an austenitic structure. It is superior to gray iron in withstanding atmospheric exposure, seawater, caustic soda, and dilute and concentrated sulfuric acid. Austenitic gray iron castings offer better corrosion resistance and wear resistance, toughness and high-temperature properties than the standard gray irons. Their largest application is oil fields that contain hydrogen sulfide.
Ni-Hard Castings
Ni-Hard is a white cast iron, alloyed with nickel and chromium suitable for low impact, sliding abrasion applications both wet and dry. Ni-Hard is used in power generation, brick, asphalt, cement, concrete, rock, sand and gravel industries. Typical castings are mill or mixer liners, mixer tips and slurry pumps.
