The 470 mm semi automatic filter press offers the advantage of a small press with features of a larger press. This unit uses compressed air to operate the hydraulics. A single lever controls the opening and closing of hydraulics cylinder. The convenient compact design allows the single hydraulic cylinder to flip up and out of the way when not in use. Standard features include air blowdown manifold, air diaphram pump and the capability to expand the size of the press.

This 630 mm automatic filter press is available in sizes from 1 cu. ft. up to 10 cu. ft. in volume. Automatic closure allows operation to be accomplished with the simple turn of a switch. In addition, the hydraulic cylinder and follower are coupled together. 

Designed for the needs of medium volume processors, the 800 series is available with the following options : semi-automatic or fully automatic plate shifters, light curtains, automatic process and air blown cycle valving.

The 1000 series filter presses utilizes 40’ X 40 “ filter plates. Press volumes start at 25 cu. ft. and increase up to 50 cu. ft. in 5 cu. ft. increments. Available options include such items as semi-automatic or fully automatic plate shifters.

The 1200 mm size is designed for full size operations. This press is offered in both overhead and sidebar designs. Sidebar volumes are available from 40 cu. ft. up to 100 cu. ft.. These presses are available with options that are semi-automatic and fully automatic (AIS systems). The 1200 mm series overhead is available in single and double overhead beam. All of the standard options, including the AIS automatic system, can be applied to this design.

Pacific Press Filter plates are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Every filter plate is quality checked, inspected and indivdually pressure tested to ensure long operation. Depending on the project the filter plates may be compression molded, injection molded or in the case of membrane filter plates a injection molded bladder with a compression molded core. PPC standard plate configuration is a "wash style" with alternating porting of filtrate ports. This wash style allows the cake to be evenly formed inside the filter cavity and can be rinsed or washed with a secondary liquid and blown with air for maximum dryness. Standard handle configuration is a bolt on style.

Filter press hydraulic systems are powered by electricity or by compressed air. Electrical based systems are designed to be more reliable althought they tend to be more expensive up front. Pneumatic powered systems are less expensive and simplier but are prone to regular maintenance due to the typical presence of water inherent in compressed air systems.Pacific press provides systems for special environments including Class1 Div. explosion proof and other specific client requirements.

Air diaphragm pumps are ideal for feeding heavy sludges into filter presses. This low cost, simple to maintain pump uses compressed air to operate and can be provided with an incremental pressure controller to form a dryer cake.
