PVC pipes are used as casing into the borehole because they are sturdy but light and heasy to handle. Pancera Tubi well pipes are free of heavy metals, non-toxic and suitable for use with drinking water according to Italian Ministerial Decree 174/2004, as documented in the “certifications” section. They comply also with EU standards EU 10/2011 and CE 1935/2004.

The micro-slotted PVC screens have been used for years to extract groundwater in artesian wells or for drainage works. They are made from our PVC pipes, therefore, they are non-toxic and suitable for use for drinking water according to Italian DM 174/2004, and European regulations (EU) 10/2011 and (CE) 1935/2004. PVC screens  are sturdy, resistant to cracks and to the action of stray currents / corrosive agents. The micro-slotted PVC screens are made by making cuts on the entire usable surface of the PVC pipe to maximize the inlet capacity. The slots are horizontal to the generators of the pipe to provide the screen with maximum hydraulic efficiency while ensuring high collapse resistance. PVC slotted pipes are made according to the customer’s needs since the length and number of cuts depend on the open area required and the width of the slots is related to the grain size of the ground. It is also possible to make cuts on one, two, three or four sides (see fig. 1 and 2).

PVC ribbed pipes and screens are made with non-toxic materials and comply with the hygienic requirements of Ministerial Decree n° 174 dated 06/04/2004. Longitudinal grooves prevent sand and gravel from settling near the openings. This allows the rising of water inflow speed, improving the hydraulic features and increasing the flow rate.

Carbon steel pipes can be suitable for several uses, they are particularly recommended when pipe laying or soil conditions require a product with high mechanical strength. They are available without coating or waterborne base painted. Connections are welding ends with or without collars or with M/F threaded couplings.

The choose of stainless steel to make an artesian well means absolute guarantee of resistance and pipes long lasting. Inox steel main feature in fact is excellent corrosion and mechanical resistance. Depending on requested diameter, pipes are made by rolling machine with MIG welding or by forming machine with TIG and plasma welding and are available in AISI 304 and 316 L grade.

HDPE pipes are manufactured with certified high density polyethylene PE100, they are suitable for transportation of fluids under pressure according to UNI EN 12201, EN 1622 and UNI EN ISO 15494  standards (PN6, PN 10, PN 16, PN 25). They can also be used for water conveying as they comply with the hygienic requirements of Ministerial Decree n° 174 dated 06/04/2004 and they meet the organoleptic requirements according to EN 1622 standard.

Bentonite pellets are designed to fill, plug and seal off boreholes. The pellets are made exclusively from high-quality bentonite. The raw material is certified according to the strictest European environmental standards as environmentally friendly and safe. Bentonite pellets provide excellent results even in challenging situations, completely and permanently sealing a hole and ensuring that different groundwater layers remain separated from each other.

EXTRA GEL powder is made from high-yield sodium bentonite, specifically enhanced with additives to ensure optimal preparation of the drilling fluids. Its properties allow for effective borehole stabilization, high debris-carrying capacity, and excellent filtrate control even under extreme conditions. Drilling fluids prepared with EXTRA GEL inhibit the hydration of clay formations and remain stable even when contaminated with brackish water. EXTRA GEL bentonite is PFAS-free.

Bentogel HP2 is a bentonite for fluid assisted drilling. The mud obtained from it has very high fluidity and is particularly recommended in conditions where low concentration of bentonite in the mud is required. Originally this product was meant to be used in gravel or difficult soils, however, thanks to its quick hydration time and ability to produce viscosity which remains stable throughout 24 hours, soon it has been chosen by water well drillers contractors for all types of soil.

Pure-Bore is a dry free flowing polymer that mixed with water produces a natural biodegradable drilling fluid, which can be used in a variety of drilling applications. Pure-Bore provides exceptional bore hole stability and cuttings removal in a wide range of ground conditions.
