Panta Rei - Fine Bubble Air Diffusers
All Panta Rei wastewater treatment plants are equipped with AirTech D9 by Panta Rei. This is a type of special disk diffuser with an EPDM membrane coated with PTFE - Teflon. A winning combination with the advantages of both materials, a synergy which boosts overall process efficiency. Our constant research along with our daily experience, have allowed us to transform the classic diffusers into a state-of-the-art product with significant improvements, such as: longer life, better performance, higher chemical resistance and less biofouling. All these enhancements translate into unparalleled economic benefits for our customers.
Panta Conoscreen - Microfiltration System
The microfilter selected by Panta Rei is perfect for the maximization of the fibers/lint removal as well as the potential reuse of the filtered water. An advanced technology which is able to hold the particles that other machines would let through. These supply ensures several advantages: the microfiltration of extremely small particles and the reduction of the organic load, going towards the wastewater treatment plant, therefore generating savings in the secondary treatment phases.
Panta Ultrascreen - Special Microfiltration System
Panta Rei’s disc filtration with Ultrascreen Technology is a high-performance system for tertiary filtration of wastewater, which exploits the principle of “dynamic tangential filtration”. The influent feeding the filtering discs enters parallel into the filter media, differently from what happens in other kind of filters, characterized by an orthogonal filtering system. In the dynamic tangential filtration, where the mesh is continuously rotating, the same particle cannot pass through the mesh at an oblique angle and is retained on the screen.
Panta Rei PolyPreDos - Automatic Polymer Preparation Unit
PolyPreDos by Panta Rei is a simple and efficient device, made of stainless steel AISI 304, designed to prepare liquid polyelectrolyte solutions having variable concentrations according to the process characteristics required. The polymer emulsion is pumped, by a special screw pump with variable flow, to a dedicated primary mixing system. Afterwards, the solution reaches inside the stainless steel tank, where an agitator mixes the emulsion properly. A second progressive cavity pump carries out the final product dosing.
Panta Rei SludgePress - Filter Presses for Sludge Dewatering
The SludgePress by Panta Rei carries out the sludge dewatering by pressing the sludge between a series of porous plates. The process forces water out from the sludge by applying high pressures to the sludge layers. This Filter Press is the only dewatering technology capable of routinely achieving high concentrations of the dewatered solids cake product – between 25 and 45% DS (dry solids) depending on the feed sludge origin and the chemical conditioning applied.
Panta Rei - Membrane Bioreactors
Membrane Bioreactors are an excellent alternative to the traditional conventional activated sludge (CAS) technology, since they perform the separation of the sludge and the water, arriving to an ultrafiltration grade. This means that not only the liquid-solid separation is achieved, but also that the effluent is free of bacteria and therefore a disinfection is carried out.
The MBR membranes supplied by Panta Rei are a special hybrid type, which combines the best features of the hollow fiber and flat sheet technologies.
Panta Rei - Chemical-Physical Treatment Unit
The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) process is a chemical-physical treatment used to remove oils and fats, emulsions and suspended solids from the wastewater and, as consequance, also the COD, BOD and color loads are reduced. The principle is that air is initially dissolved in the water under a pressure of several atmospheres, followed by release of the pressure to the atmospheric level. The entire flow is held in a retention tank under pressure to allow time for the air to dissolve; then it is sent to the floatation tank where it comes out of solution forming very fine bubbles.
