Parker Balston - Nitrogen Generator

The Parker Balston N2-200 Nitrogen Generator is a completely engineered system which will convert a compressed air supply into a 96% to 99.5% purity compressed nitrogen gas. The system is based on state-of-the-art membrane separation technology. Hollow fiber membranes are used to separate air into a concentrated nitrogen output stream and an oxygen enriched permeate stream.

Applications for hydrogen include use as a fuel gas for Flame Ionization Detectors, as a reaction gas for Hall Detectors, and as a carrier gas to ensure absolute repeatability of retention times. Hydrogen is also used in high sensitivity Trace Hydrocarbon Analyzers and air pollution monitors to ensure the lowest possible background noise. Other applications include hydrogenation reactions and analysis of gas emissions.

Parker hydrogen generators for fuel gas produce up to 100 cc/min of 99.9995% pure hydrogen for several Flame Ionization Detectors (FID). The generator typically pays for itself in less than one year based on cylinder gas savings alone. Deionized water is all that is needed to generate a continuous supply of hydrogen. Automatic water filling is available for all models. Installation consists of connecting to gas delivery tubing. Includes a two year cell warranty.
