Aeration

Aspiro - Model Plus - Water Surface and Transfers Aeration System

The Aspiro plus is the latest development from PCPL.The ASPIRO PLUS supplies air below the water surface and transfers it into a highly mixed horizontal water stream not unlike the wake of a boat. This efficiently mixes air and water into the lagoon, tank or other basin that requires it. The development of the ASPIRO PLUS sees higher oxygenation efficiencies than standard ASPIRO units, and also a greater level of control in your plant through the capability to aerate and mix, or to mix alone by turning air blowers off. This is a great advantage to batch operated plants and allows for nitrification and denitrification using the one unit.

Surfair - Direct-Drive Floating Impeller Pump Type Aerator

The Surfair is a direct-drive floating impeller pump type aerator. It’s simple design is based around a screw-type auger impeller rotating at speed within an enclosed tube. This allows for the lifting of large quantities of liquid through the tube that are then directed out over the surface of a basin or tank in a flat splash pattern to mix and aerate the contents. The Surfair can be designed to operate from quite shallow to very deep vessels by use of a varying length extension to the pump tube that can draw the intake liquid from any depth within reason.

PCPL - Low Speed Gear Driven Impeller Aerators

PCPL offer an entire range of low speed gear driven impeller aerators. These units are based around an inverted cone type impeller and produce excellent oxygen transfer characteristics. Units available from 4.0 kW to 110 kW. Units can be supplied as fixed or floating aerators in a variety of materials of construction.

PCPL - Liftair Aerators

PCPL’s Liftair aerators offer a floating or bridge mounted aerator based on airlift technology suitable for low powered applications where very high oxygen transfer capabilities per unit of power are required (up to 4 kg.O2.kW.hr). A close coupled regenerative blower supplies air to a submerged air diffuser manifold located within a directional airlift volute. This draws liquid from vertically beneath the volute and aerates and discharges the liquid horizontally. Excellent pumping rates and mixing are achieved at very low power.
