Sentinel HSC Pumps are engineered for reliable operation upon demand. All fabricated parts are standardized and accurately machined for true alignment, increasing overall durability. Precision balancing of all rotating components provides mechanical dependability, reliable operation and minimal maintenance. Impellers are constructed with double inlets that practically eliminate end thrust while boosting operating efficiency. These high-efficiency units operate with pressures in excess of 390 psi (27 bar), produce heads to 750 ft (229 m) and flows from 150 to 5,000 gpm (568 to 18,925 litres/min). They are available with electric, diesel, or dual drive power and vertical or horizontal orientation. Their simple, split case design allows for in-line service without disturbing piping.

The HSC is our H2O Works™ heavy lifter. This pump is widely used to move clear water or low-viscosity, clear industrial process liquids at moderate heads. A fine combination of volume with ample head, this rugged, simple design offers extended service life, reduced maintenance costs and minimum power consumption. The split casing provides easy access to all rotating parts.

H2O Works type DMD Two-Stage Pumps are engineered to produce as much head as two single-stage HSC pumps in series, but they are much more compact in size. These rugged units are highly efficient and engineered to assure long and reliable service. Their single inlet construction permits a shorter h4 between bearings with half as many wearing rings to maintain. Packing boxes and bearing supports are integrally cast (except in the 10x10 DMD). An optional mechanical seal is available. Casing rings protect the casing from wear. Sizes range from 2 in. to 10 in. discharge, with capacities to 3,500 gpm and heads to 1,150 ft. Typical applications include water resources and industrial service such as high-head water works, hydraulic elevators, oil refineries, mining operations, chemical plants, and as boiler feed pumps.

These durable, H2O Works™ pumps are specially designed to pump sludge, raw unscreened sewage, miscellaneous liquids and contaminated trashy fluids efficiently, without clogging. A patented, self-cleaning ring prevents clogging. Easily installed and highly reliable, the design of these field-tuned, refined, dry pit service pumps incorporates extensive input from engineering firms, maintenance personnel, plant and equipment operators and mechanical/hydraulic experts.

Today, Patterson’s vertical turbine technology is the product of years of vertical pump experience. The result is a refined design that produces exceptional hydraulic performance, with low vibration and noise levels. And pumping sections can be staged as necessary to meet desired pressure requirements. Vertical turbine units require only minimal floor space and operate in low NPSHA applications. The above-grade discharge, motor and controller allow easy, safe maintenance.
