The A5 series module consists of a replaceable core of 69 tubes each of 6mm diameter fitted into a stainless steel housing.

The Large Diameter A8 Modules permits simple, rapid, high area and inexpensive MF and UF tubular filtration for new and existing installations in the waste water industry.

The A19 module consists of a replaceable core of 19 tubes each of 12.5mm diameter fitted into a stainless housing.

The A37 module consists of a replaceable core of 37 tubes each of 12.5mm diameter fitted into a stainless steel housing.

For reverse osmosis systems the “series flow” module has channels molded in the end-caps connecting all the 18 tubes in series. The temperature limit for the B1 module is 80^oC, and the maximum operating pressure, for this module, is 80 bar. The module is of stainless steel construction, with the 12.7mm diameter tubular membranes fitted into 18 perforated support tubes and available as standard in 3.66m, 2.4m and 1.2m lengths, providing membrane areas of 2.6m², 1.7m² and 0.9m² respectively.

For viscous materials an alternative end-cap type (known as “twin” or “double-entry”) is used which provides two parallel channels each of nine tubes in series. This allows viscous materials to be processed, and higher crossflow velocities to be used, with overall pressure drop minimized.

The C10 module provides economic use of a wide range of proven tubular UF and NF membranes and expands PCI’s range of tubular modules. The module has been developed for process and wastewater liquid separations, as well as specialist municipal applications.

The MIC-RO 240 and 960 are designed for economic, short-term evaluation of membrane processes for separation and concentration at laboratory bench scale. It is a small stainless steel tubular device, 30cm long for the MICRO 240 and 1.2m long for the MICRO960, which accepts two 12.7mm diameter membrane tubes. The module is capable of operating at pressures of up to 55 bar at 70°C and can accept the full range of membranes available for the B1 module, allowing tests of RO, NF and UF processes with the same module. Membrane area is 0.024m² or 0.096m². Membranes are available in packs of 6 tubes for any membrane type. The module has termination points allowing easy connection by flexible or welded couplings to existing equipment. design allows the use of tubular membranes in areas where they were previously considered noncompetitive against thin-channel membrane configurations.

The A5 Mini Tester is designed for laboratory scale evaluation of Ultrafiltration membrane applications with moderate levels of suspended solids. It consists of 5 x 6mm diameter membrane tubes potted onto a 1″ nominal bore plastic tube, with overall length 1.2 metres and membrane area of 0.1m².

The PCI Classic membranes’ tubular membrane product is well suited to handle aqueous feeds with high levels of dry substances (up to 40,000 ppm), high viscosities, or high degrees of fouling. The PCI Classic membranes is available in a wide range of tubular Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis membranes. Constructed in plastic modules and offered in three lengths (2m, 3m and 6m).
