PCMS stores design, operating, and process parameters for all plant equipment, eliminating the need to manage multiple data sources. PCMS incorporates a Graphical User Interface (GUI) which provides a user friendly interface to quickly locate assets and efficiently navigate throughout the system. The program also offers an array of features to support the daily management of asset data including a full asset tracking mechanism which tracks specific asset performance within a process location, relief valve correlation to particular process equipment, ensuring compliance and providing safe operation, and incorporation of the latest industry codes and standards.

All activities in PCMS are configurable to the individual site`s work practice. Types of activities tracked in PCMS are limitless and can be defined by the user, but typical activities tracked in the program include:

The Corrosion Management Module has been the foundation to PCMS for 25+ years. The module allows plant personnel to track wall thickness, corrosion rates, next inspection dates, and retirement dates on any type of asset. The patented risk and corrosion calculators analyze thickness data which is subjected to 20 different test case scenarios to determine the critical dates for each Condition Monitoring Location (CML) and corrosion circuit.

PCMS provides a fully integrated RBI module within the program. Design, operating, and inspection data from PCMS continually feed the RBI calculator, providing a true evergreen approach to RBI management. The user has the choice in PCMS to a Semi-Quantitative (API 580/581), Qualitative, or Imported (3rd party) RBI approach.

PCMS Interfaces with a variety of Maintenance Management Systems including SAP®, MAXIMO®, and EMPAC®. A number of organizations that implement PCMS leverage the robust integration of the PCMS Maintenance Management Interface modules in their everyday work practice. PCMS is able to electronically send work notifications and receive work order information and confirmation data via the live interface. Asset data can also be automatically updated through use of the PCMS Maintenance Management Equipment Link. As data changes occur in the user`s Maintenance system, the data changes are propagated to PCMS. The site administrator has complete control to which data fields in PCMS are controlled by changes in the Maintenance Management system. MISTRAS can also provide custom programming services to link to other commercial Maintenance Management systems.
