Acidizing’s extreme pH conditions and the production of released fines result in tight emulsions of produced fluids to be formed. These upsets are disruptive of normal operations and costly. causes the smallest water droplets to form aggregates by impacting the surface energy, preventing emulsions from forming and speeding up the process of acid-oil separation.
