Pegasor Particle Counter - Complete system for PN-PTI testing

Pegasor Particle Counter PPC is a complete, stand-alone measurement system for regulatory PN-PTI testing. Powered by the Pegasor G2 particle sensor, the PPC is an easy-to-install system for fast and reliable testing of particle emissions from engine or vehicle tailpipe. The system fulfills all requirements and recommendation set in EU for for measuring particle number concentration from vehicles. The PPC uses the patented Pegasor G2 sensor for particle detection within the system. The Pegasor G2 sensor operation is based on electrical detection of aerosol particles following the “escaping current” technique. This unique method keeps the sensor clean throughout the measurement and therefore maintenance intervals extremely long. The G2 sensor measures particle number PN concentration as required by the PTI regulations, but it additionally gives information on the particle size and the lung deposited surface area (LDSA) and mass concentration of the particles.

Pegasor Air Quality Monitor - Ultrafine particle monitor

Pegasor Airam is a standalone ultrafine particle monitor ambient, outdoor air quality measurements. The Airam system is powered by the Pegasor PPS-G2 sensor that provides real-time and accurate information on particle number (PN), lung deposited surface area (LDSA), particle mass (PM) and particle size. The Airam goes beyond traditional PM10 and PM2.5 measurements, aligning with the new European Union Ambient Air Quality Directive, setting stricter limits on key air pollutants, including ultrafine particles (UFPs). The new directive aligns more closely with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) air quality guidelines, aiming to reduce pollutants which are known to cause respiratory and cardiovascular issues.

The Pegasor G2 is a new and improved particle sensor designed for real-time particle concentration monitoring in industrial environments. First developed for regulatory PN-PTI testing, the G2 is now available for all industrial measuring and monitoring applications where reliability, accuracy and ease of use are required. The G2 is specifically designed for OEM applications and it comes with a range of data communication and integration options that can be modified according to customer specific needs. Pegasor’s patented G2 sensor allows long-term, reliable, and accurate monitoring of ultrafine particles. This non-collective method enables very long maintenance intervals even in high concentration measurements since the particles don’t clog the sensor. The G2 sensor measures particle number PN, lung deposited surface area (LDSA) and mass concentrations, and additionally gives information on the particle size – all in one system.
