Crankcase Explosion Relief Valves - Integrated Door Explosion Relief Valves
BICERA Revolution - Explosion Relief Valve
A new twist on an old classic, the BICERA Revolution™ Valve protects engine room personnel and parts from dangerous exhaust temperatures and flame with improved performance and a lightweight design. It may be small, but it is packed with performance.
BICERA - Crankcase Explosion Relief Valve
For over 60 years, the BICERA design has been put through rigorous testing and has gained recognition as the safest valve on the market. Available in a range of sizes, our crankcase explosion relief valves trap flame and direct hot exhaust gases down and away from engine room personnel. Penn-Troy is the only crankcase explosion relief valve manufacturer that will customize your unique crankcase door design to seamlessly integrate with our valve.
Water & Wastewater Valves - Mud Valves
Penn-Troy - Stainless Steel Mud Valves
The valve should be mounted to a standard 125-lb. flange. The mud valve should be recessed so that the top of the valve flange is flush with the floor to allow complete drainage. The mounting surface must be flat and free of debris. Also, remove any scaling near the inside diameter of the drain line before the valve is installed. Precaution must be taken during installation to prevent damage to the machined seat in the frame from heavy grit (concrete, etc.) to prevent gouging of the machined seat face. Consider using a blind flange as a place holder for your mud valve while pouring concrete to avoid splatter on the mud valve.
Penn-Troy - Cast Iron Epoxy Coated Mud Valves
Cast iron mud valves are used as drain valves in waterworks and wastewater treatment basins, irrigation, and fluid retaining basins. They are also used in many industrial applications including spill or overflow containment basins.
Telescoping Valves
Penn Troy - Rising Telescoping Valves
Rising telescoping valves are used when gross indication of the valve’s position is desired during siphoning or regulating fluid levels. There are two models of rising telescoping valves to choose from depending on the needs of your application.
Non-Rising Telescoping Valves
Non-rising t-valves are useful in applications with a low overhead clearance or the need for rapid actuation during siphoning or regulating fluid levels.
Hydrostatic Pressure Relief Valves
Pressure Relief Valves
Located on the bottom of a tank, floor type pressure relief valves open up when excess groundwater is present to prevent floating, which can cause cracking and other serious issues.
Pressure Relief Valves
The valve opens as a result of hydrostatic pressure outside the wall of a tank exceeding the inside pressure. The opening action allows water to flow into the tank thus equalizing pressure both inside and outside of the tank.
Sluice Gate Valves
Cast Stainless Steel Sluice Gates
Penn-Troy currently offers 4” sluice gates with a cast stainless steel construction.
Flap Valves
Weighted Flap Valves or Weighted Flap Gates
Weighted Flap Valves or Weighted Flap Gates, give added resistance to the lid, allowing for the valve to be angled downward (or even upside down) and still have the lid be closed. Under direct pressure the valve will open to allow water to flow out, but closes to prevent debris from entering.
