Dust Control Filter Bags
Filter - Pulse-Jet Bags
PENNVINT supplies pulse-jet and plenum pulse filter bags. These bags use support cages to allow air flow from the exterior of the bag and exiting through the interior. Our bags are sewn with 3 - needle chain stitch to ensure seam integrity. Top constructions consist of snap band, flange top, ring top, soft cuffs or raw edge. Bottom removal bags are constructed with a raw top or soft cuff. Top and bottom removal bag bottoms have disc bottoms that are sewn using an overlock (surge) stitch or lock stitch. A wear strip or custom skirts is attached to the bottom portion of the bag to prevent premature wear from bag-to-bag and bag-to-cage abrasion.
Filter - Shaker Bags
We provide a wide variety of filter bags for use in shaker type collectors. We manufacture bags from woven and shaker felt. Pennvint will recommend the media that will provide you the performance you expect from your shaker unit. We offer various types of top attachments to work with the shaker mechanism you have, whether it is loop, hanger, strap, grommet or we may help you design one to fit your needs. Our bottom attachments can be made with snapbands, corded cuffs or reinforced cuffs for extra wear protection.We can also supply clamps for the standard cuff bottoms, as well as other hardware.
Filter - Reverse-Air Bags
PENNVINT has a wide variety of reverse air bags. Typical top designs are strap top, loop top, cord top cuff, compression band tops with steel caps or grommet top bags. Bottom include raw edge, cuffed, compression band or beaded cuff. Anti-collapse rings of mild steel, stainless steel and other alloys are placed along the bag at the proper points for maximum cleaning efficiency. PENNVINT supplies clamps for the cuff bottoms.

For non-PLC applications, this configuration is powered by the TRIBO.dgd serving as a data-hub. By using several datahubs, a large monitoring network can be created while minimizing wiring/installation costs. Dedicated software provides recording and alarm or event monitoring functions for communication via Serial or Ethernet connection.
TRIBO.d2 - Model 3400 - Emissions Monitor System
Two-wire (loop powered), 4-20mA output, emissions monitor The TRIBO.d2 is a two wire, loop powered, emissions monitor for high or low tempera- ture applications, designed to detect and locate impending filter malfunctions for indus- trial dust collectors, large and small. These industrial hardened monitors function by processing and analyzing minute electrical currents generated when particles impact or pass nearby strategically located sensors within a wide variety of fabric filter and car.
Cartridge Dust Collectors
Model SL - Horizontal Cartridge Collector
Scientific Dust Collectors` (SL) Horizontal Cartridge Collector is designed for industrial powders, assorted metal working and spraying applications, and sub-micron dust applications. It utilizes the patented supersonic nozzle cleaning system, internal inlet air baffle, and patented spring-loaded door for filter removal using a spring-loaded handle, NO TOOLS REQUIRED! The unique and patented inlet baffle allows air to evenly disperse throughout the entire bin. It also reduces the `dead zone` area at the top of the horizontal cartridge filters. As with our other cartridge units, this design also incorporates a spring loaded door, which allows us to guarantee never to have a cartridge gasket leak inside our cartridge dust collectors. This series of cartridge dust collectors is a welded design not a bolt-together design.
Pennvint - Scientific Dust Collectors (FC)
Scientific Dust Collectors (FC) Fume Collector is a self-contained collector designed for welding smoke, fumes, and light dust applications. The FC utilizes the patented supersonic nozzle cleaning system as well as a hinged door with our patented Pedal Actuated Cartridge Release System for filter removal, NO TOOLS REQUIRED! This special design has a double layer of internal baffles that serves as a spark trap. This FC Series design incorporates an internal fan, silencer, and motor starter panel. This unit is a `plug and play` type unit that requires very little installation.

Model SPJ-RT - Railing Top
Scientific Dust Collectors` Supersonic Pulse Jet Railing Top (SPJ-RT) Collector is designed for easy top bag removal from the clean side while maintaining low headroom. It utilizes the patented supersonic nozzle cleaning system as well as a high-side inlet so that the heavier dust falls out of the air stream. These features allow the collector to operate at higher air-to-cloth ratios, lower pressure drops, and provide longer filter life. This design has all the same benefits and features as our walk-in plenum design. The only difference is that the bags are accessed through `lift-off` doors on the roof of the baghouse. The Railing Top design allows bag access where outside temeprature is hot enough to prohibit entry into a walk-in plenum.
Model SPJ-BV - Bin Vent Collector
Scientific Dust Collectors’ Supersonic Pulse Jet Bin Vent (SPJ-BV) Collector is designed specifically for storage tanks, silos, work bins, and material receivers. It employs the patented supersonic nozzle cleaning system which allows the collector to operate at higher air-to-cloth ratios, lower pressure drops, and provide longer filter life. We can provide powered (with a fan) and non-powered (without a fan) bin vents. We can also customize the bottom flange to match customers’ required opening.
