Pennwalt - Super Decanter Centrifuge
The Pennwalt Super-D-Canter Centrifuge is a specially developed continuous Solid-Bowl Horizontal Scroll Discharge centrifuge for effective separation of slurries into clarified liquid and dewatered cake solid phases, with the application of centrifugal sedimentation principle.
Pennwalt - High Speed Tubular Bowl Super Centrifuge
The Super centrifuge is a vertical high speed tubular bowl centrifuge, generating centrifugal force up to 20000 times the force of gravity. It is used either for continuous separation of two immiscible liquids having different specific gravities or for batch-wise clarification / polishing of liquids containing fine insoluble solids.

Hose Pump
Pennwalt - Hose Pump
A composite, reinforced hose is enclosed within a casing that is flanged at both ends. The flanges are connected to the suction and discharge lines of the system. Within the casing is a rotor with two pressing shoes at opposite points about its centre line and mounted on a shaft with two bearings. As the rotor rotates, the hose is totally compressed by the shoes and the product within the hose is pushed forward. At the front of the pump is a removable cover with inspection window and level indicator. The pump casing is filled to approx. half way level with a specially compounded (food grade) lubricant which functions as a coolant as well. The patented hose is constructed from rubber laminations with an internal reinforcement which ensures that compression forces are evenly applied across its full width.

Water treatment and many other technical processes frequently require the use of oxidising gases such as chlorine or chlorine dioxide. These gases are highly toxic and corrosive. Therefore special precautions have to be taken in areas where such gases are used.
Pennwalt - Chlorine Gas Leak Detector Absorption System
The moment the Chlorine leak is detected by any of the sensors, the blower would start automatically sucking the Chlorine air mixture through the hood on leaking ton container and only air through the other hoods on the non-leaking ton containers or through the ducting laid in Chlorine Ton Container room. Simultaneously the caustic re-circulation pump would start working, taking the caustic solution from the tank and pumping it to the top of the tower. This caustic solution gets sprayed through the nozzles in the tower over the PP pall rings. The gas air mixture travels in the tower from bottom towards the top whereas the caustic solution travels from top towards the bottom. Hence with this counter current travel, the Chlorine gas gets neutralized by the caustic solution as the packed portion provides the required contact tank. The air discharging at the blower outlet is practically free of Chlorine gas.
