Modified Mount & Brungs Proportional Diluter for fish toxicity testing under flow through conditions for 6 test concentrations with freely variable concentration factors from 1.8 to 2.3, vehicle control and fresh water control. This unit can optionally be equipped with a proportional compensation of the vehicle to insure identical vehicle concentrations, excluding fresh water control, at all test concentrations. For testing in duplicate each test concentration can be separated into 4 equal volumes. The range of concentrations can be adapted to a large extent to the request of the user. An electronic control and monitoring system shuts down the operation automatically to avoid changes in test concentration in case of malfunction and triggers a local or remote alarm. The maximum total delivery achievable is 120 to 140 litres per hour equivalent to 17 to 20 litres per hour and per test concentration.

PEQITOX 7 is an apparatus for the continuous preparation of test solutions, suspensions or emulsions from stock solutions of substances tested at the limit or above the solubility. It is constructed to be used in fish flow through tests. Since one unit produces 1 test concentration the concentration factors can freely be chosen depending on the requirements and the limitations of pumps selected for the feed of the stock solutions. An electronic control panel controls the flow and the levels of liquid and triggers a local or remote alarm in case of malfunctioning and hence eliminates the risk of flooding the laboratory space with test solutions or undesired changes of test concentrations in the fish aquaria.

The bioaccumulation dosing system is specifically designed for the performance ofaccumulation and elimination studies on fish or other aquatic organisms, in particular for tests with radioactive substances. These bioaccumulatian studies provide information on the uptake of substances from water and its depuratian from e.g. fish tissues needed for the assessing of the relative propensity of substances to enter and persist in aquatic food chains.
