The high performance vapor filters are a special development of the Pergande filter fabrication. They are used in applications where dust must be separated out of hot vapors. Nutsche filters are extremely suitable for filtering batches of liquids with a high solid content, particularly when the solids will be undergoing challenging post-processing. The liquid is separated mechanically from the solid using a permeable layer (filter medium). This is done using either a vacuum that exploits the atmospheric pressure, or with the help of pressure, or a combination of vacuum and pressure.

Vacuum paddle dryers require minimal space for the largest possible thermal transfer surface. They provide thermally gentle treatment of the products. In comparison to well-known vacuum drying cabinets, they have the advantage of largely automatic product entry and exit, plus they induce high drying speeds by continually changing the position of the product on the heated surface. The entire process takes place within a hermetic conclusion.

Drum dryers are film dryers that ensure particularly quick and gentle drying. The product being dried only comes into contact briefly with the dryer and is exposed to the drying temperature for a few seconds. Drying in a vacuum is even gentler to the product. The system can also be designed as a cooler. The drums are cooled with water or brine to extract heat from the product.
