PinAAcle - Model 900T - Atomic Absorption Spectrometer
For laboratories needing the best in both flame and THGA furnace atomic absorption (AA), the PinAAcle™ 900T is a combined flame/longitudinal Zeeman furnace system. The PinAAcle 900T has the flexibility to switch between flame and furnace in seconds, and its high light throughput optical system, combined with a solid-state detector, provides the highest-quality efficiency and signal-to-noise performance of any AA system on the market. In addition, it features cutting-edge fiber optics for improved detection limits and TubeView™ color furnace camera for easier autosampler tip alignment and sample dispensing, as well as to monitor drying and pyrolysis during analysis for simpler method development. All of this in the smallest flame/furnace AA footprint, saving valuable bench space.
PerkinElmer - Model Optima™ 8300 - ICP-OES Spectrometer
The Optima 8300 is a bench-top, dual-view ICP-OES with two solid-state SCD detectors, delivering superior detection limits and true simultaneous measurements.
NexION - Model 350X - ICP-MS Spectrometer
The NexION® 350X ICP-MS, with a single-channel Universal Cell, is well suited for general purpose applications that may be susceptible to interferences or analyses where you simply want to remove any unknown interferences. The NexION 350X ICP-MS can use a simple non-reactive gas in Collision mode or a reactive gas in Reaction mode, making it ideal for semi-quantitative analysis, environmental testing, as well as the testing of unknown samples. An optional second channel is available for the NexION 350X ICP-MS.
PerkinElmer - Sample Preparation Block Systems
PerkinElmer offers a variety of sample preparation blocks and accessories for your lab needs. Better laboratory practices demand modern techniques in sample preparation. In the past, hot plates were used to digest samples where common digestion problems involved rusting, cross contamination of digestion system to sample, and poor sample temperature control. With no exposed metal components and an outer shell manufactured from acid-resistant thermoplastic, the SPB blocks reduce the chances of sample contamination. Each system is constructed with a solid, Teflon-coated, graphite block where a flat heater covers 95% of the block’s base. This guarantees temperature uniformity and eliminates hot spots found in hot plates.
