Browser-Based System
The Permit Management system provides you quick and easy access from any computer. The web based interface collects and delivers the data that has been entered into the system. This interface is intuitive, easily learned and can be accessed from any operating system through your current web browser. Each user has a unique account and password to access the system. This restricts unauthorized access into the system and allows the system manager to audit users who have logged into the system and to track sample results the user has entered.
Manage Permits
The Permit Management system allows the entry of unique permit limits to be created for each point of discharge you have to manage. Upload a PDF or other format document and associate it with a discharge in the system. This document can be titled and a brief description can be entered for easy retrieval. Permit limits can be entered into the system for each discharge point and entered as a Daily Maximum, Monthly Average, or Absolute Maximum. The system uses one or more of these permit limits to compare against the sample results. Once the permit has been created, the information can be easily copied into the renewed permit information.
Create Sampling Events
When creating a new sample event in the system, information such as the sample type and the collector are stored with the expected turnaround time. If the sample has not been received by the expected time, an email alert is sent. If a sample is required, but has not been entered into the system, an email alert will be sent. This prevents missed sampling events, or sampling events that occur too late to allow adequate time to respond to permit exceedances.
Process Sampling Events
Sample results reported by the laboratory are entered into the system. After entry, the system compares the results to the permit limits and reports the SNC status of each parameter. If additional samples need to be collected during the current period to correct the SNC statistics, the number of samples needed is shown in a convenient list. To help maintain compliance, an email can be sent to a designated list to or as a reminder that samples need to be collected.
Snc Report
A major benefit of the Permit Management system is the ability to understand your SNC status and react accordingly. By understanding when you are not in compliance, you can collect additional samples to bring averages down. Data is saved in the system indefinitely so you can always have access to your historical and reference data.
