AQUA-SEP - Membrane Distillation Systems

AQUA-SEP™ is a hollow fiber membrane distillation process to purify water and convert extremely high salt (Concentrated Brine) water as well as waste water from oil & gas and any chemical industry to the drinking water quality standard. The main advantage of Aqua Sep™ over other conventional technologies is that it makes the process very economical. In many applications this process will produce water of very high quality.

AQUA-SEP - Zero Liquid Discharge Membrane Systems

AQUA SEP  ZLD (ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE) is a water treatment membrane process in which all suspended and dissolved solids are removed from the industrial waste water, rejected brine from Reverse Osmosis or thermal desalination plants. Water is purified, recovered and recycled leaving zero discharge behind at the end of the treatment cycle. The system Operates at low temperatures without using any evaporators or crystallizers.

AZEO-SEP - Pervaporation Systems

Pervaporation (AZEO-SEP™) systems are useful for chemical separations in numerous industrial applications. Organic compounds can easily separate from water and other organic streams. The System use pervaporation for the separation or purification of various liquid mixtures. It is achieve by partial vaporization through a non-porous membrane. This process helps in separation of common solvents from an azeotrope with water because it is not possible for distillation alone to break it. These membranes selectively not affected by azeotrope formation. There are hundreds of solvents that which AZEO-SEP™ can purify. For example: MEK, MIBK, THF, Alcohols, Acetates etc.

VOC-SEP - Vapor Permeation Units

Vapor Permeation ( VOC-SEP ) units are highly cost-effective compared to conventional treatment methods. This system utilizes a membrane based separation process for extracting low concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from water by partial vaporization by the process of pervaporation through non-porous membrane. The membrane acts as a selective barrier between the feed in the liquid phase and the permeate in the vapor phase. It can extract hundreds of various kinds of VOC’s from water For example:Benzene, Chloroform, THF, TCE, Acetone, Acetates, etc.

Petro-Sep - Reverse Osmosis Systems

Reverse osmosis is a membrane process used to remove dissolved solids from water. The process is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

Petro-Sep - Ultrafiltration Systems

Ultrafiltration is a membrane process that is most commonly used to remove suspended or dissolved solids from a process liquid. The membranes are selected to remove impurities based on their molecular weight. The process uses hollow fibers of membrane material. The feed can flow either inside the shell, or in the lumen of the fibers.

Petro-Sep - Micro Filtration Systems

Micro-filtration and ultra-filtration are pressure-dependent processes. They remove dissolved solids and other substances from water to a lesser extent than Reverse Osmosis, yet with a high level of purity. The membranes used in Micro-filtration have with a pore size of 0.1 – 10 micrometers (µm). The membranes used in Ultra-filtration have smaller pores varying in size from 0.001 – 0.1 (µm). This makes Micro-filtration excellent for the pre-treatment of surface water, sea water, and biologically tested municipal effluent.

AZEO-SEP - VOC-SEP - Pervaporation & Vapour Permeation Bench Scale Units

Our small systems, suitable for in-house testing are available for purchase or rent. These units are designed to facilitate testing of pervaporation membranes for your unique separation applications in your laboratory. The flux and selectivity data obtained can be used for sizing large plants. Extended tests on the laboratory scale system can be conducted to evaluate membrane stability.
