PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry services

The dedicated ADR Cell extends institutional service for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) of commercial disputes. It administers, oversees and conducts arbitration and conciliation proceedings according to the institutional rules framed by PHD Chamber of Commerce, as modified from time to time, in tune with the changing legal framework and needs of the business community.

PHD Chamber has been authorized by the Government of India to issue Certificate of Origin (Non-Preferential) to Indian exporters, in accordance with Article II of the International Convention Relating to Simplification of Customs Formalities, 1923. In addition to issuing the Non Preferential Certificate of Origin, the Chamber also attests/certifies commercial documents for Export Oriented Companies and issues visa recommendation letter to member companies. In the changing global scenario, the issues of IPR have gained special importance for the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector. IPR protection plays a key role in gaining competitive advantage in terms of technological gains for achieving higher economic growth in a market driven economy. It is felt that IPR requires greater understanding and attention by the industry, particularly the MSME sector in India. The "National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council (NMCC)" which visualized a National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP) to enhance the competitiveness of the SMEs sector. One of the components of the NMCP is "Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)" for the MSME. 

Water conservation is aimed at benchmarking water usage across different sectors including industry.The significance of j water assessment has been increased due to the usage of water resources in the industry in upcoming water stress era.
