This portable, accurate instrument is easy to operate, sets up in just minutes and provides you with unparalleled flexibility. You can read reflectance directly from a sample by using any one of Photovolt’s standard search units. With the 5G it becomes easy to measure color, opacity, hiding power, brightness and reflectance.

Model 577(5G) Food Industry Package (many options available) for Coffee, Potato, Salmon, Pork, or Cheese. 577 (5G) reflectometer plus search (optical) unit depending on the food application. Within each unit there are many options including single or dual display, serial port, wireless communication, L*a*b* or Munsell readings, SCAA, Air Curtain for potatoes, and other options. Universal Power Input, Includes: Digital Storage and Output, 24 bit resolution for high accuracy and expanded features. Requires a Search (Optical) unit, either the W search unit with a fixed blue filter, a Y search unit (with a ~1" aperture) which takes one of three color filters (green, amber, blue) or a D search unit (with a 3" aperture) which can also take one of the three filters.
