SoleAcid is a kinetically controlled, fully compatible, slow dissolving sandstone acid system. SoleAcid has none of the risks of conventional sandstone acid and is compatible with any sandstone reservoir composition. It has relatively low corrosivity and delivers as much damage removing power as high strength HF Acid. SoleAcid can increase the productive capacity of new wells, extend the decline curve on older wells and restore productivity from catastrophically damaged end of life wells.

Hydrochloric acid (HCl) systems are integral for addressing calcium carbonate and inorganic scale deposits in well operations. These systems are highly customizable, allowing for manipulation of acid strength to suit specific downhole conditions and damage mechanisms. Their flexibility includes the capacity to control reaction timing, buffer against precipitate formation, and optimize acid placement downhole through weight adjustments. Additives are employed to enhance performance and precision, ensuring that the acid treatments specifically target inhibitive damage without additional well stress. A combination of HCl and hydrofluoric acid (HF) proves efficient in siliceous mineral dissolution. The formulation maintains a low pH to prevent harmful byproducts typical of HF reactions. Organic acid systems are available for sensitive or high-temperature wells, offering a safer alternative with significant scale removal potential. Augmentations in organic systems afford even greater efficiency in hostile conditions, retaining the same customization and enhancement as their mineral acid counterparts.
