The Pick Variable Flow heating system mixes medium-to-high pressure steam with cold water and delivers instantaneous hot water at a precisely controlled temperature over a wide range of water flows.

Pick offers options for packaged systems of our Steam Injection Systems or other methods of heat transfer.

The Pick "BX Series" of Direct Steam Injection Heaters is designed for use in paper mills and ethanol plants where high volumes of starch can be cooked in-line. The generous flow-through design assures negligible pressure drop in the slurry and provides thorough cooking at a precisely controlled temperature. It’s also a great choice for viscous slurries like waste grease, FOG sludge or oil extraction. For centrifuge feed, the Pick promotes breakdown of slurry for efficient separation.

The Pick Nitrogen Injector provides thorough mixing and a non-shearing design to ensure product quality and integrity. The Pick Injector is an excellent choice to disperse nitrogen into products such as mayonnaise, peanut butter, and edible oils.

The water spray design of the Pick Heaters “Series DS” Desuperheater offers a simple, cost effective method of cooling steam to within 10°F of saturation.
