Pierce Permapipe - Pivot Pipes

Permapipe spans provide the solution for corrosion problems in pivot pipes caused by low quality water by lining the internal surface of the galvanized pipes with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Any pipe lined with HDPE does not require gaskets between flanged pipes because of the unique mold-a-flange technology, which makes sealing an integral part of the liner material. Also, Pierce offers a 10 year warranty with full pipe replacement, not including freight, labor or hardware.

Pierce - Model LS400 - Four-Wheel Linear Systems

The LS400 system shares similarities with the LS200 model, distinguished primarily by its four-wheel cart configuration, which enhances traction capability and accommodates hoses of up to 160 millimeters in diameter and lengths of up to 150 meters. Like its LS200 counterpart, the LS400 features a six-inch articulating elbow. However, utilizing this elbow may restrict traction when the system exerts lateral leverage on the cart. The LS200 and LS400 models evolved as adaptations of the CP600 from the existing European models that were utilized in smaller sized fields.

Pierce HoseDrag - Model LS4x4 - Linear System

In the LS4x4 HoseDrag linear system the location of the water inlet is positioned at the ends of the 12-inch horizontal axle. The hose connection is centralized between the wheels, enabling traction without leveraging and evenly distributing workload across both sets of wheels. The cart can be situated at either end of the machine or in the middle to create two connected sections on each side. This linear system is suitable for handling higher water volumes and can accommodate flexible hoses of up to 200 millimeters in diameter and 100 meters in length, or up to 140 meters if the hose material is polyethylene. When opting for smaller hose diameters, the lengths will be adjusted proportionally to the hoses’ weight.

Pierce - Model LS4x4 - Ditchfeed Linear System

These types of systems utilize a suction mechanism to draw water from a canal. The positioning of the cart within the system, whether at the end or in the center, depends on factors such as canal placement and the area to be irrigated. It’s crucial for the cart’s path to maintain minimal deviation from the canal’s water level to prevent issues like pump cavitation due to low water levels or air accumulation in the suction tube in cases of high water levels. To accommodate the increased energy demand for water pumping, the cart’s fuel tanks boast larger capacities (ranging from 1,700 to 2,000 liters) compared to other systems. Various suction system options are available, including simple filters, self-cleaning filters, electric winches, and electric priming pumps.
